Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Tender

The bidder is required to have prior work experience of at least one similar work equal in value to 30 percent (25 percent in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the payable amount for works having an estimated cost from one Crore to 10 Crore, and 60 percent or Rs 6 Crore, whichever is higher, for works having an estimated cost of more than 10 Crore (excluding maintenance cost for five years). The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in the originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this requirement. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The total monetary value of civil construction works performed for each of the last five years should be provided. In terms of percentage, the bidder can subcontract up to 25 percent of the Contract Price for construction/up-gradation. For construction work, the experience required is: - Degree Holder in Civil Engineering: As prescribed - Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering: As prescribed For routine maintenance, the experience required is: - Degree Holder in Civil Engineering: As prescribed - Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering: As prescribed The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to the total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited. The bidder's available bid capacity for construction work should be equal to or more than the total bid value excluding maintenance. The available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the price level of the last year at the rate of 8 percent a year. The bidder should also provide information on the value of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the period of completion of the works for which bids are invited. This value will be used to calculate the available bid capacity. The bidder should have completed similar nature of works, and the value of these works should be provided. However, a specific percentage of similar works completed is not mentioned in some cases.
