NOTE for Ser. Item No. 1.01 TO 1.08 above (i) Prime cost sum shall be got executed throught the agency nominated by Accepting Officer and as ordered by GE as per condition 5 of IAFW-2249 (General Conditions of Contracts) (ii) The amount of prime cost sum as indicated above is pre-priced by MES. The Add / Deduct percentage (%) will be indicated under Col. 9 of this BOQ over the sum inserted by MES. The Bidders are requested to quote his lumpsum under Col. 6 in such a way that the percentage (%) works out shall not be more than 15% (Fifteen percent). In case, the % age worked out more than (+) 15% over the lumpsum amount inserted by MES, in that case the percentage (%) will be corrected to ensure as (+) 15% only. The contractors claim of whatsoever nature on this account shall not be entertained. Also refer conditon 5 of IAFW-2249 (General Conditinon of Contracts). (iii) The Sample / Make of Items of sound system shall be approved by GE prior procurement by contractor. (iv) Testing of Sound system shall be carried out in presence of representative of nominated Agency, Users, Contractor & GE. (v) The defects notified during the testing of sound system shall be rectified by the contractor to the entire satisfaction of GE without any extra cost to the Deptt. (vi) Making good to disturbed surfaces during execution of work shall be carried out by the contractor without any extra cost to the Deptt. (vii) Price quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of all duties, Taxes, Insurance, Transporation, shipment, loading and unloading charges etc. (viii) Bidder shall visit the site before quoting the LUMPSUM. No claim of whatsoever nature on this accout shall be entertained.
