SCH 'A' PART XI (MISC B/R & E/M ITEMS)

INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION

Material & labour for point wiring with 1.5 sqmm (nominal area) PVC (antitermite ecofriendly FRLSH) insulated sheathed copper stranded conductor cable run in and including concealed in wall/ floor ERW steel conduit not less than 20 mm as per IS with all fittings such as bends, tee, junction boxes, etc of suitable size including 1.5 sqmm PVC (FRLSH) insulated copper earth continuity conductor connected to common earth dolly and including MS?GI sunken boxes with modular inner & surface plate suitable for housing modular switches, sockets, fan regulators etc for one light/ fan/ call bell point controlled by one way switch complete all as specified and directed .

All as per Sl Item No 12 here-in-before but for one 3 pin 5 Amps socket outlet on independent board complete all as specified and directed .

Material & labour for point wiring with 2.5 sqmm (nominal area) PVC (antitermite ecofriendly FRLSH) insulated sheathed copper stranded conductor cable run in and including concealed ERW steel conduit with all fittings such as bends, tee, junction boxes, etc of suitable size not less than 20 mm medium grade including 2.5 sqmm PVC (FRLSH) insulated copper earth continuity conductor connected to common earth dolly and including sunken box with modular inner & surface plate suitable for housing modular switches, sockets, fan regulators, etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for circuit/ submain wiring alongwith earth wire of sizes 2 X 6 sqmm + 1 X 6 sqmm with PVC (antitermite & ecofriendly FRLS) insulated copper conductor, single core, 1100 V grade cable in recessed/ surface as required using aforementioned earth wires, cables including in ERW steel conduit and taking down old unserviceable submain from existing position, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Aforementioned earthwires alongwith a conduit of suitable size all combined shall be measured and paid as one unit.

Material & labour for circuit/ submain wiring alongwith earth wire of sizes 2 X 4 sqmm + 1 X 4 sqmm with PVC (antitermite & ecofriendly FRLS) insulated copper conductor, single core, 1100 V grade cable in recessed/ surface as required using aforementioned earth wires, cables including in PVC casing caping or conduit and taking down old unserviceable submain from existing position, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Aforementioned earthwires alongwith a conduit of suitable size all combined shall be measured and paid as one unit.

Supply & fix ceiling rose surface type, PVC/ polycarbonate isolated body size 50 X 28 mm two to three terminals complete all as specified and directed .

Material & labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to galvanized iron wire 4mm as earth lead by meanis of bolts, nuts, washer and check nut of galvanized steel, protected by and including GI pippe 15 mm bore (ligh grade) and connected to main switch/ MCB DBs box point/ LP test point as directed and including cement concrete pit in 1:2:4 tupe B1 using 12.5 mm graded aggregate, with cast iron miled steel frame embedded in the concrete enclosure finished flushed & CI cover 10 mm thick of size (300 mm X 300 mm CI) having locking arrangement hinged to CI frame all as shown in SSR PArt - I 2009 and as directed including painting the external surface of chamber & cover with enamel paint in different colour as directed and writing earth results and date of test carried out with white paint on black painted background, wiremesh funnel 20 mm bore GI pipe medium grade for watering adequate quantitiy of charcoal, bentonite and common salt in alternate layer of 15 cm 3ft x 3 ft thick all around the electrode including necessary excavation & earthwork in any type of soil complete testing on completion all as directed shall complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & fix LED street light fitting 40 W made up of pressure die cast aluminium housing with toughened glass and high power LEDs and secondary lense with IP 65 protection including 10 KV SPD, min 110 LPW complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Crompton, CAT part No LSTS 30-CDL-M or equivalent model in Philips/ Bajaj/ Havells/ Wipro.

EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION

Supply and laying Double Walled Corrugated (DWC) duct as per IS - 14930 Part - II for LT UG cable protection including coupler, elbows, T-Joint, Bends etc and of size 50 mm outer dia & 38 mm inner dia, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, install, testing & commissioning of MCCB TPN 125 Amp, 50 Hz, 415 V with rupturing capacity of 35 KA with enclosure of suitable size including aluminium bus bar 200 A, TPN fixed on suitable porcelain insulator duly color coded including fixing of enclosure on wall all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of copper earth plate electrode of size 60 cm x 60 cm x 3.15 mm thick and copper strip 20 x 3 mm as earth continuity conductor complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) The continuous earth continuity conductor of any type, shape shall be provided and no joints shall be provided except test points as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) The earth continuity conductor shall run vertically on wall in open or in GI pipe. The contractor shall provide necessary and proper saddling & shall properly fix the conductor on wall/ ceiling at his own expenses and shall make good any damage done without extra cost to the department. (iii) Where the earth continuity conductor runs through ground, it shall be laid in trenches at required depth in GI pipe all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (iv) GI pipe for protection of earth continuity conductor, earth strip is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (v) Earth resistance shall be less than 5 ohm for single earthing. (vi) The unit rate quoted against this item shall also be inclusive of the cost of excavation of earth pit for copper strip in trench upto 7.5 mtr along with GI pipe for protection and necessary earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 as in pit and pre cast PCC 1:2:4 type B1 with necessary reinforcement as in cover & frame for pit, funnel, watering pipe 20 mm bore GI pipe light grade, 40 mm bore GI pipe for earth strip protection and GI/copper/aluminium earth strip/ wire of any size & shape upto 7.5 mtr in length also including required quantity of salt and charcoal.

Supply & fix micro switch, meter plunger, 2 position 15 A, 230 volt, screw terminal and threaded plunger to control the power supply in radiography room which is to be operated with the movement of sliding door complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

LIGHTNING ARRESTER

Material and labour for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 × 60cm × 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) surrounded with alternate layer of charcoal and salt of 15 cm thick, 3 feet x 3 feet all around the electrode as directed with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanised earth strip 32 X 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in Electrical Plate No. 05 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion including earthing pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-0 & 40 mm thick precast RCC voer in 1:2:4 type B1 reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 75 mm C/C both ways with 02 Nos lifting bandles of 12mm dia MS Plain bar, GI pipe 20 mm dia light grade with funnel and wire mesh for watering and 40 mm dia light grade GI pipe for earth lead proteciton etc including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The rates of GI strip and protection pipe upto 7.5 m is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Material and labour for Aluminium strip 25 x 3.15 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors mounted on porcelain insulator complete all as specified and directed. Note: The rate of porcelain insulator is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

ROAD/ PATH/HARDSTANDING/ GROUND

Material and labour for hardcore (broken stone or boulders) of gauge not exc 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exc 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of newly decorated surfaces by brooming or still wire brushing, scrapping down smoke shoot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts & greasy spots, removing nails etc and applying two coates of exterior acrylic emulsion (apex) over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

FIRE ALARM

Supply and laying 2 core 1.5 sqmm armored FRLS copper cable for interconnecting devices in concealed PVC conduit of 20 mm dia, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying isolator module for the fire alarm system complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying emergency push button for the fire alarm system, complete all as specified and directed.

Design, supply, fixing & testing of overhead electric operated crane 0.5 tonne capacity, single girder, conforming to relevant IS including limit switches and control panels for operations, rail welded and 'X' ray checking of welding including wiring with multi core copper flexible cable and main switch fuse unit of required capacity as per OEM recommendation along with push button station operated from ground, 'fail to safe' type, brakes, track wheels of suitable alloys for crane, gantry rail and girder required for crane complete with all accessories & fixture, including sub main wiring of suitable size of copper conductor with copper insulated as earth wire drawn in & including MS steel conduit with wire drawin in & including MS steel conduit with accessories from main DB to crane control panel, including painted with one coat of red oxide and two coats of epoxy paints, specifications as follow complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
