M&L for Preventive maintenance and servicing of 11 KV HT OCB, MDO Type, Rated Current 400A, 50 Hz by taking out the breaker trolley of 11 KV HT OCB, cleaning from inside and outside by using CRC-26 spray and applying petrolium jelly to the all moveable parts, Male /female bushing/ terminals/ Spouts of VCB. Complete servicing of switchgear including checking the fixed / moving contacts of all the 3 phases adjusting electrical/ electronic/mechanical components all as per mfg instruction manual and standard practice including testing and calibration of relay of any make (e.g. Earth Fault relay / Over current relay/ Master Trip relay etc) of 11 KV OCB Panel. The fault level setting of these relays shall be as per the MSEB Norms so that individual breaker will activate / trip to arrest the fault in local circuit and fault will not travel to main breakers at MRS and subsequently to MSEB Power Feeder. This job must be carried out through OEM or authorised personnel including maintaining and submit the testing report to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge. (Note :- (i) Spares used during servicing will be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ
(ii) Old unserviceable material obtained shall be contractor's property as per Schedule of Credit)

Electrode must be tested for a short circuit test of minimum 40 KA at CPRI/NABL. The earthing electrode will be placed in the ground after a bore is drilled to the depth of 3.5 Mtr. The bore drilling will be done with the help of a Pneumatic boring machine, 50 Kgs BFC will be placed in the bore to cover the earthing rod from all sides. BFC will be poured in Slurry form in a properly mixed condition. The Earth pit cover Square 300x300x240 mm to be provided to cover the Earth Pit and shall be made of reinforced FRP and should be capable of carrying the weight of 5 Tons. (Make : "U-PROTEC" earthing Pvt Ltd or equivalent in Ashlok safe earthings electrode Ltd /JEF technology) (NOTE :- (a) Rates of boring 3.5 Mtr for earth electrode, Copper strip 25x3 mm upto 7.5 Mtr from earth electrode is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (b) On testing, after completion, if the earth resistance 5 ohms is not obtained, earthing will be rejuvenated at no extra cost till the desired earth resistance is obtained.)
