Repair to potholes any depth, n. exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken sufaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (includig supply of road metal) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M&L preparing old bituminous surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing cacked mud etc. and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a tack coat VG-10@7.50 Kg/10 Sqm over existing surface etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M&L for providing 75 mm thick (consolidated thickness) or less premixed bituminous macadam using paving bitumen (VG-30) @4% by weight of hot mix mixed with aggreagate (as specified) in hot mix plant , rolled consolidated with 8 to 12 ton power/vibratory roller to the required gradient and camber on prepared WBM/Bituminous surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge. Note : The contractors quoted rates shall be deemed to include the following elements (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through Govt approved lab and same shall be got approved from GE before incorporating in the work. (ii) In case variation in the bitumen content as per approved mix design in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted with Price adjustment on MINUS side only @ Rs 50612/- per MT (without considering the permissible tolerance on minus side with reference to binder content indicated in BOQ. (iii) No price adjustment for Bitumen shall be done for variation on plus side.
