Excavation in trenches in soft/ loose soil for foundations etc. or for shafts, walls, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, laying pipes or underground cables etc., not exceeding 1.5 m in width and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and not exceeding 10 sqm on plan, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil, complete all as specified.

Excavation in trenches in soft/ disintegrated rock for foundations etc. or for shafts, walls, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, laying pipes or underground cables etc., not exceeding 1.5 m in width and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and not exceeding 10 sqm on plan, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil, complete all as specified.

M&L Plain Cement Concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, filling, filling in post holes and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials (soils) to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point all as specified and directed.

M&L Moorum / red bajari filling in floors or pavings, laid in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, spread, leveled and rammed including watering all as specified and directed.

Supply, fabrication & fixing Mild Steel Framed brackets of angles or tees with web and flanges cut to shape, drilled and countersunk for screw, including bending and welding angles, as necessary, gusset plates, riveting, etc.. n exc 10 kg each brackets, conforming to Fe.290 Gde-E-165; complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fabrication & fixing Mild Steel flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 ; complete all as specified and directed.

M&L MS round bars 10 mm dia and over, Fe-410-W (Gde E-25) quality - A or Fe-290 (Gde E-165) grade, cut to length, bend to shape as required including cranking, bending and horizontally woven in chain link fencing, stiffener or in similar work, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Mild steel screw bolts (machine made), dia of neck 11 to 15 mm, with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, n exc 5 cm long; complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2 mm dia barbs at 75 mm spacing's and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. as directed (each line wire to be measured); complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only MS Chain link fencing using 4.00 mm dia hot deep galvanised wire, of mesh size 50 x 50 mm or any size or type as directed including line wires for fixing on stranded rails etc; complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and directed.

M&L Preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description n. exc. 10 cm in width or girth when unconnected with other painting or when painted in a different tint and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and directed.

S&F Punched tape zinc coated concertina coil made out of low carbon strip duly electro galvanised for protection; dia of wire not less than 2 to 2.5 mm in coil 600 mm dia and blade profile BTO-10 and 22 when closed with and including all necessary clips and RBT wire (each coil shall contain 100 metre of wire) to connect with angle or bracket including all accessories; complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing stones / boulders lying at site (other than spoil) to a distance upto 1.0 km or under including loading, unloading and stacking at the destination complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Plain Cement Concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L RCC M-25 (Design mix) using graded stone aggregates in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams, plinth beams; bases for columns etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L RCC M-25 (Design mix) using graded stone aggregates in Columns, pillars, piers, posts and struts etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note: The quoted rate shall be inclusive of making groove of size 120mm x 80mm in two sides through out the height of column above GL for insertion of factory made Precast Wall Planks/ Fins.

M&L Factory made Pre-cast reinforced cement concrete M-30 (Design Mix) grade using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in Wall Planks / Fins all as per details shown in drawing No CEPZ/2024/KK/02/STR sheet 1/2 and 2/2 for size of wall planks/fins, thickness and reinforcement details etc. and setting / built in cement mortar 1:4, in any position, complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (a) Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately. (b) Precast Wall Planks/ Fins shall be inserted in the grooves of columns carefully with the help of crane after making suitable arrangement in the crane. (c) Precast Wall Planks/ Fins shall be casted in the factory premises having all casting facilities and testing facilities. GE will approve the name of manufacturer of Precast Wall Planks/ Fins after visiting the plant/manufacturer premises. (d) GE will detail AGE to plant/manufacturer premises at regular interval to check the quality control after sample testing.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm in any kind of soils all as specified.

Removing excavated soil to a distance exceeding 50 m but not exceeding 250 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point all as specified and directed.

M&L Rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar (1:3), finished even and smooth without using extra cement, on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L MS TMT bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bend to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips all as specified and directed.

M&L MS TMT bars 5 mm dia and over upto & including 10mm dia, cut to length, bend to shape as required including cranking, bending and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips as in stirrups, spacers, binders complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Form work to sides of concrete foundation, footings, bases of columns, rafts and raft beams, sides and soffit of foundation and plinth beams and similar work etc; for flat rough finished surface of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Form work to sides of pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions, for flat fair finished surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and material & labour for applying two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over new surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Hardcore of gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and leveled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface; complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregates as in in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs not provided for in SSR Part -II Item 04028, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, as directed including use of necessary form work and finishing exposed surfaces of concrete even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Mild steel rag or lewis bolts, dia of neck 20 mm, screwed one end, with hexagonal or square nuts and washers, the other end enlarged and jagged or lewised, n exc 15 cm long complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Grouting 10 mm thick ready mix mortar in ratio 1:2 in column grooves, packaging type: PP bag, Packaging size: 40 Kg for covering area 1.60 Sq.M / 40 Kg Bag @ 1o to 12 mm thick with brand Ascolite complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 20 mm thick cross linked closed polymer premoulded compressible joint filler board complete all as specified and directed in expansion joints of RCC columns. (Make: Duraboard HD 100 of Supreme , Kampur HD 100 or equivalent as approved by GE).

M&L Providing PVC pipes 110 mm dia as in weep holes of retaining wall complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Rolled MS Framed work Fe-290 (Gde E-165) as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Rendering 5 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4), finished even and smooth without using extra cement, on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls etc. and applying three coats of white wash all as specified and directed.

Mobilisition of mechanical drilling equipment and providing entire arrangemnet from one hole location and setting of boring/ holing as required and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge for boring 150 mm dia bore holes 6.0 m depth through any type of soil or rock strata. The scope of work includes the following stage/ steps:- (a) Collection of undisturbed soil sample at 0.50 M interval at any change of strata and transporting to the lab. (b) SBC recommendation for all bore holes at depth size 1.5 m, 2.0 m, 2.5 m etc as required for footings of size 1.5 x 1.5m, 1.5 m x 2.0 m, 1.5 x 2.5 m, 2.0 x 2.5 m and 2.0 x 3.0 m. (c) Conducting necessary test as per relevent IS Codes/NBC 2005/SP 36 on all collected samples which include the determination of i) Atterbergs limits ii) Natural Moisture Content iii) Wet and dry density iv) Soil partical size distribution using sieve /hydrometer analysis v) Triaxial shear test with C & O determination vi) Shrinkage test vii) Consolidation test viii) Specific gravity test for sand rock ix) Crushing str of rock samples x) Permeability test xi) Chemical analysis of ground water samples xii) Chemical analysis xiii) Bearing capacity calculations xiv) Swelling Index & Sewlling pressure in respect of Black Cotton Soil and its depths, layers be provided

xv) Photographic record of geo-exploration as well as testing shall also form part of test report. xvi) Recommendation as regard possibility of liquefaction of soil in case of saturated or partially saturated loose / uncompacted sandy soil. xvii) Depth of ground water table in peak monsoon and peak summer (highest) after correction of result with seasonal variation of water table in the station. xviii) Recommendation for filling under floors / beam. xix) BH location duly marked on site plan shall form part of scope of item xx) Maintaining photographic record (Minimum three photographs per hole) xxi) Submission of 05 copies of original report of soil investigation alongwith photographic record annotated. NOTE: The sealed samples of each bore hole shall be forwarded by Engineer-in-Charge duly signed on the envelope of sample with forwarding letter mentioninng all the details of bore holes location and other parameters. Accordingly soil report shall be prepared and reference of each sample letter shall be mentioned in this report.
