Routine inspection (as and when called for) of complete fire detection and alarm system including sensor/detector, Main fire alarm control panels, Repeater panels, Hooters, MCP, speakers, and repair/ re-laying of defective cables installed at Main Hospital building, Civil OPD and MDTC building and including replacement of all defective components of the entire fire alarm system and minor items such as lugs, nut, bolts, screws etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr- in- charge (Note : (i) Inventory items attached as Appx 'A' to PS. (ii) Activities to be carried out under this item shall be enumerated below.)

(a) Initial inspection of existing sensor/detector, Main fire alarm control panels, Repeater panels, Hooters, MCP, speakers, and cables installed at Main Hospital building, Civil OPD and MDTC building as per scheme attached as and when basis and carrying out neessary repair to make system functional and testing as per standard norm of relevant IS/NBC. (b) Preventive maintenance visit including cleaning of smoke detectors, checking of control panel, hooters, MCP, speaker, modules etc. (Once in every month) (c) Fire Testing on Holiday: Testing of smoke detectors for all Zones along with user shall be carried out once in a month (d) Emergency visit and Breakdown visit: Emergency within 12 hours after call on any working day (9 am to 9 pm) for major fault breakdown of fire alarm panel shall be carried out as and when required. (e) After end of every routine or emergency maintenance as required, a status report shall be submitted every day or as and when asked by Engr-in-charge. (f) A log book/ register shall be maintained at site for keeping records of the system healthiness, and other relevant information and monthly report shall be submitted to Engr-in-charge.

S&F in replacement of armoured copper conductor with 2 core 1.5 sqmm ,1100 volts grade, PVC insulated, stranded copper conductor cable suitable for control wiring connection including lugs, ferrules etc. drawn through existing conduit/trough cable tray including taking down existing one complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
