Clean/clear of blockage of manholes, gully traps, floor traps, vertical soil/waste pipe of different dia (upto four storey bldg) and sewage line in the area of AF station sheva/site R (Domestic and Tech area) by providing and deployment of 02 (TWO) Nos of Labours per day including Sundays and Holidays. Note : a) The labour (02 nos) will report daily at 0845 hrs on all working days including Sundays and holidays at complaint cell centre to attend complaints given by Engr -In- Charge . Complaints needs to be cleared within 24 hrs after receiving the complaints. The contractor will deploy requisite labour and supply all T&P ( mechanical Iron rods, knot ropes , bamboo etc.) scaffolding ladders any other materials required to clear the blockages at the site without any extra cost .Labour for cleaning of sludge from sewage lines (any dia) to manhole is included in quoted rates. In case any labour does not report to Engineer In Charge for the whole day or found missing more than half an hour on any day, Panel recovery @ RS.900/- per head per day shall be made proportionally from contractor's dues.
b) The recovery will be made from the contractor @250 Rs per complaint which are not cleared within 24 hrs from the date and time of receipt of complaints. Decision of Engr-In- Charge is final in this respect. Two persons will be provided by the contractor at site. The above item includes conveyance cost of labour with their tools to travel from pocket to pocket to attend complaints including removal of sludge from the site outside MOD land to a distance not exc 5km (The department shall not be liable to provide any kind/form of transportation to the labour).
(c) Registers of labour attendance and complaints slips shall be maintained by contractor at their own cost, which shall be kept in the custody of MES Department(complaint cell) duly signed by contractor's representative ,JE(civil) and Engineer in charge. (d) The documents viz. attendance register, complaint register, log sheet / record of complaint made / attended shall be maintained separately for each locations / complaint center. (e) The police verification with regard to antecedent and character of tradesmen engaged by the tenderer, shall be carried out by the contractor at his own expenses before obtaining temporary pass on monthly basis. (f) The police verification report, showing names and addresses of tradesmen shall be required to be submitted to the Engr-in-Charge/GE as and when asked for. (g) The contractor shall submit attested copies of necessary safety insurance for subject tradesmen/supervisor employed for the execution of contract.
