Material & labour for preparation of black bituminous road surfaces by removing all loose dirt, dust etc and applying 2.5mm thick, 100 mm wide thermo plastic road marking paint (including centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows, zebra crossings etc) with an applicator machine and heated mixer, with stirring mechanism at temperature 160 C, laid uniformly with width as directed, paint conforming to BS-3262 part I & II of 1989 etc, complete all as per manufacturers instructions and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge,

S & F solar road studs of size not less than 125X 125 X 25 mm made of weather resistance aluminium alloy and poly carbonate material electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by the Engineer in charge. The cats eye shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35⁰ ± 5⁰ to base. The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM E: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 :1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. The solar panel shall be high efficiency mono crystalline 2.5 V/60 m A and the battery shall be one Ni-mh type (1.2 V/1200 m Ah) high temp for backup of 36 hours full charging. The flash frequency shall be 60 ± 5 times per minute.
