Material & labour for gently cleaning the surface of the stone masonry and piers in building/ jetty/ dock above sea water level with specialized water misting techniques using air water jet with a fine nozzle sprinkling system calibrated to spray a fine mist along the stone surface, without over wetting, followed up by gentle brushing with soft nylon brushes as specified. Gentle surface cleaning may include using water misting and mild pH balanced surfactants as specified for indicated areas to remove surface dirt, grit, surface accretions, lime wash etc by means of water misting and pH balanced surfactants and cleaning as directed by Engineer - in- Charge.

Material & labour for raking out cement pointing or any other hard material used and careful repointing and repairs to be carried on the damaged pointing of stone masonary in jetty/ dock above sea water level by using RENDROC SP 40 of FOSROC suitable for marine environment and submerged condition. The contractor to ensure use of masking tape and sharp specialized spatula and tools to ensure clear lines and high level of workmanship on site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for preparation of stone masonary surface and cleaning all loose laitance, algae fungal, foreign material and application of transperent protective paint NItocote SN 522(transparent) of Fosroc suitable for stone masonary in marine and submerged condition complete all as per manufactures instruction and directed. Note:- For item no 1.00 to 3.00 1- Quoted rate shall be inclusive of removing vegetation, sea growth on stone masonry surfaces. 2- Quoted rate shall be inclusive of necessary arranegemnt of scaffolding and safety arrangement .If there is requirement of small private boat for carrying out the work, same shall be arranged by contractor without any extra cost to Govt. 3- Necessary safety precautions as per safety norms like helmet, shoes, life jacket shall be provided by contractor and quoted rates includes the same. 4- Work shall be executed as per manufacturers instructions and in presence of company rep and certificate shall be rendered by the contractor at the time of claiming any payment.
