c) Rebound hammer test in accordance with IS:516 Part-5 Section 04 (Minimum of 05 tests per building):- To assess strength of concrete cover. Methodology: Rebound hammer is pressed against the concrete surface to take the reading coming on the instrument denoting strength of the surface to take prescribed pressure. d) THERMAL SCANING: Thermal scanning using FLIR thermal camera at locations to identify the source of leakage (Minimum 02 locations per building) e) Core test/CAPO (Cut And Pull Out) Tests as per ASTM C-900 (Minimum 02 Nos per building):- To estimate in-situ compressive strength of concrete structure. Methodology: One cylindrical core of the concrete member is taken from selected part of size 75mmx150mm depth and is tested in laboratory against crushing load depth and aggregate analysis if required.

f) Reinforcement mapping (Minimum of 2 location per building):- Reinforcement mapping test on RCC members to assess covers, spacing of bars including approximate diameter at strategic locations. g) Chemical test: (Minimum one test per building):- Chemical test for RCC structure in accordance with IS: 456 2000 using ready made kit and reagents. Methodology: Sample will be collected from half cell/carbonation powder for determination of PH Value, water soluble sulphates and water soluble chlorides at strategic locations.

h) Half cell potential test in accordance with IS: 516 part-5 2018 Section 02 (Minimum two tests per building): To define the corrosion potential of RCC sections where steel are exposed. Methodology: Continuity of steel is assumed/checked prior to testing. One re-bar needs to be exposed to act as a one point. This is connected to the Copper Sulphate half-cell through a millimetre. The other point of the half cell is directly connected at various locations on the concrete surface which is pre wet. Completions of circuit give a reading on the millimetre which is the potential difference between the tested points. High negative difference indicate that the corrosion potential is maximum. Various readings are taken within a close grid at equal interval of 150 or 300 mm centre. Contours are then drawn to indicate areas with varying corrosion potential.

j) Carbonation test in accordance with IS: 516 part-5 2018 Section 03 (Minimum two tests per building):- To identify depth of carbonation of concrete. Methodology: Chemical reaction of the concrete surface to a phenolphthalein based staining agent is recorded at varying depth at the same location. The tests shall be carried out in close proximity to the surface strength profile test locations to note the densification effect of carbonation on surface strength.
