M&L for 5 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces ceiling surface, finished even and smooth finish without using extra cement, all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 15 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick wall or concrete masonary surfaces, finished even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of new plastered wall surfaces and applying two or more coats of 100% premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre, algal, fungal & dirt resistance, exterior paint of required shade over and including one coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 kg/10 sqm all as specified and as directed.

M&L for removing old enamel paint and cleaning with scrappers, any number of coats, of any width or grith from concrete surfaces and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment on wall/roof projections including facia, cornices, etc by scrapping with mechanical sander (having mechnical vaccum mechanism ) with sanding pad of appropriate grit to make surface clean, free from dust, loose paint etc by skilled labour including filling of cracks/holes by acrylic crack filler complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Model of mechanical sander to be approved by Engr-in-charge/GE.

M&L for applying waterproof wall care putty (thickness shall vary from 1.0 to 1.50mm) over prepared surfaces as required for desired smoothness and levelling of surfaces in two or more layers) including sanding of the putty surfaces after drying to achieve even and smooth finish for receiving painting complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (a) The work shall be carried out in stages of work. The contractor shall inform to the Engineer-in-Charge for site inspection after preparation of surfaces and after application of wall putty before application of further finishes. The external finishes work shall start only after approval of prepared surfaces by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of new plastered wall surfaces and applying two or more coats of 100% premium exterior acrylic emulsion paint, algal, fungal and dirt resistance, of required shade over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (a). Exterior Primer & Acrylic emulsion paint shall be applied on wall surfaces by using Airless spray technology with max working pressure of 3300 PSI and capable of operating single spray gun with a max material hose length of 30 mtr.The spray machine should be of reputed manufacturer with pro guard technology and capability of tracking pressure complete as approved by Engr-in-Charge . 2. Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats.

M & L for applying two or more coats of weather proof exterior acrylic emulsion paint, algal, fungal and dirt resistance of required shade over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm on prepared surfaces (plastered or un-plastered) or concrete surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (a). M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of wood and wood based materials of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of steel/iron/CI pipes of any description exceeding 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of black bituminous paint complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of floor surfaces and applying one coat of floor guard of approved shade complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of roof tile surfaces at any height (up to 10m) and applying one coat of tile guard of approved shade including required scaffolding etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of roof tile surfaces at any height (up to 10m) and applying two coat of tile guard of approved shade including required scaffolding etc by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

NOTES FOR ITEM NO. 28 to 31:- (a) The work pertaining to smart periodical services shall be executed by authorized applicator through manufacturer of which the materials .i.e. Paint, Distemper, Putty etc. is proposed to be used for the work by the contractor and as approved by GE. (b) The cost of scaffolding, security measures etc required to complete the entire work shall be included in the quoted rate. (c) The contractor shall upload MOU letter with any one of manufacturer and also with their authorised applicator mentioned in the tender alongwith their bid in cover-I failing which the bid shall be rejected. Authorised applicator shall have valid authorisation letter from the manufacturer (Minimum regional HQs) and shall have been issued not less than 30 days from the date of commencement of the work. The authorisation letter needs to be valid for the complete period of execution of the painting work. (d) After preparation of the surfaces, Engr-in-Charge shall approve the same before applying primer and finishing coats. (e) Building wise stage passing register shall be maintained and shall be signed by Engr-in-Charge and contractor. (f) The equipments to be used in the work shall be certified by the manufacturer with whom the MOU been entered into. (g) Contractor shall submit approved company generated 05 years warranty card at the time of submission of RAR & Final Bill.
