S&F in replacement straight through joint kit heat shrinkable suitable for the LT underground cable 1100 volt grade 25 to 50 Sqmm armoured with aluminium conductor including necessary lugs and earth work etc including taking out of old cable covers / bricks and re-laying the same after providing joint kit complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note for item nos. 10 to 13 :- Earth work and excavation will be measured and paid separately.

M&L for testing and find out the fault in LT underground cable with the help of by providing cable fault locating machine at site including removal of moisture content from cable complete all as directed by Engr-incharge. (Note:- (a). The fault locating machine will be arranged by the contractor at his own cost i.e the cost of bringing of fault locating machine at site shall be deemed to be included in unit quoted rates. (b). Necessary excavation and earthwork etc. shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ.

M&L for disconnecting of burnt out LT underground cable of 10 to 25 Sqmm 4 core size, from MCCB / Main switch / Transformer etc and cleaning the bus bar & removing carbon & rusted nut bolts etc complete and re-connecting the LT cable after replacement of aluminium lugs, glands and insulating exposed inner core of the cable with insulation tape etc of suitable size of LT cable complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for disconnecting of burnt out LT underground cable of 50 to 95 Sqmm 4 core size, from MCCB / Main switch / Transformer etc and cleaning the bus bar & removing carbon & rusted nut bolts etc complete and re-connecting the LT cable after replacement of aluminium lugs, glands and insulating exposed inner core of the cable with insulation tape etc of suitable size of LT cable complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for disconnecting of burnt out LT underground cable of 120 to 240 Sqmm 4 core size, from MCCB / Main switch / Transformer etc and cleaning the bus bar & removing carbon & rusted nut bolts etc complete and re-connecting the LT cable after replacement of aluminium lugs, glands and insulating exposed inner core of the cable with insulation tape etc of suitable size of LT cable complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for attending fault of APFC panel by deploying skilled Electrician, well experienced including repair to APFC panel by replacing burnt out wiring, setting and adjusting of APFC relay etc and making of APFC panel functional complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- Attending of one number complaint and make it functional, shall be measured as one job.

S& F in replacement of wall mounted bus bar chamber of size 600X745X200mm, 8 way, capacity 250A, 415 / 440 Volts, frequency 50 Hz, insulation voltage 1000 Volts, short circuit witstand capacity 25 KA including necessary arrangements i.e fastner etc to fix the busbar chamber on wall with necessary bus bar and cable end boxes to connect incoming & outgoing cables, complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S& F in replacement of wall mounted bus bar chamber of size 800X900X250mm, 8 way, capacity 400A, 415 / 440 Volts, frequency 50 Hz, insulation voltage 1000 Volts, short circuit witstand capacity 35 KA including necessary arrangements i.e fastner etc to fix the busbar chamber on wall with necessary bus bar and cable end boxes to connect incoming & outgoing cables, complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth in soft / loose soil and getting out, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth in hard / dense soil and getting out, complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying in replacement GI pipe, 80mm dia, Light grade suitable for cable protection at road crossing etc including necessary road cutting and making good the disturbed surfaces with PCC 1:2:4, type B-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate, 100mm thick or fixing on wall / poles of any type, secured with and including clamps etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Supplying and laying in replacement GI pipe, 100mm dia, Light grade suitable for cable protection at road crossing etc including necessary road cutting and making good the disturbed surfaces with PCC 1:2:4, type B-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate, 100mm thick or fixing on wall / poles of any type, secured with and including clamps etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil with galvanized steel earth plate electrode size 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m below ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.50 m below normal ground level connected to with and including earth lead of 24x4 mm size GI flat iron up to 7.50m by means of bolts nuts check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of MES SSR Part-I (2009) connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion with & including provision of earth strip protected by galvanised iron 40 mm dia, light grade pipe up 7.50m and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore medium grade with and including concrete pit shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 40 mm thick pre cast cover slab in RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate duly reinforced with 8 mm TMT bars @100mm C/C on both sides with suitable cast iron lifting handle, GI earthing strip shall be encased in and including 50mm nominal bore GI 'light grade' tubing with all fittings from earth plate up to panel shall be provided & charcoal / salt funnel & other fittings etc. complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Unit rates includes the cost of 7.50 m GI pipe for protection of earth strip and 7.50 m GI earth lead strip.

M&L for Repairs to LT panel boards complete including with necessary welding works to doors, replacement of unserviceable hinges & aldrop bolts etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repairs danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with screws on LT panel boards of size 20x15 cm complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for prepration of old painted surface of LT panel board & Bus Bar boxes etc and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint after preparation of old steel surfaces of panels complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
