Disconnecting Inlet / Outlet lines and Manholes. Removing of all Inlet-Outlet Pipelines, Manholes etc. Contractor shall arrange and installion of Blind Plates for Positive Isolation of Fire Water Tank from rest of Hydrant Network at no extra Cost to IOCL. Any damage caused to the fittings or any equipment during removal & fixings of the connection has to be made good by the Contractor

Tank Re-Painting (Internal) with Surface Preparation (With Material and Labor): Surface Preparation: Cleaning the inner surface of the tank using mildwater jet for the entire area such as internal roof, shell plates,bottom plates, roof structural, columns, girders, rafters etc as directed by site in-charge and removal of all sludge/dust/muck/rust etc from the tank and disposing them off as per direction of site in charge. Hand Wire/Brush Cleaning to SSPC SP2. Silt, Debris etc. accumulated inside Tank has to be Cleaned and removed by Contractor at no extra Cost to IOCL. Painting Scheme: One Coat of Polyamide Cured Epoxy Zinc Phosphate [P2], 75 Micron Thickness [Make - Pentadur Blast Hold Primer 8530, Carboguard 893 SG, Apcodur 201, Sigmacover 280, Epilux 13 LB Primer (925), Epilux 610 HB Primer, Neropoxy 5055, EPIGARD 5 HB ZP PRIMER, Intergard 269, Penguard E20]. Two Coats of Solvent less HB Epoxy Liner [F4], 500 Micron Thickness [Make -Pentadur SL Epoxy, Phenoline341 I, Apcoguard SF 156, Sigmaguard CSF 650, Epilux STL Coating (M79), Neropoxy solvent free, EPIGARD SOLVENTLESS FINISH, Interline 925P/Coatgard F99, tankguard 412]. Total Minimum Thickness (DFT)= 570 Micron. Cleaning and Re-Painting shall be Carried out on Upper side of Bottom Plates, Inner Surface of Shell upto top of tank, Under Surface of Roof Plates, allInside Structural Members, Fittings, Supports and Trusses. Measurement shall be taken only painted surface of upper side of bottom plate, under side of roof plate & shell plate surface only. No seperate measurement shall be taken for painting ofstructural members, fittings, appurtenances, pipe lines, pipe supports etc. Rates are inclusive of Material(Paint, Thinner, Tools, Tackles etc.), Equipment, Labour and all other Consumables required for the Job.

Vacuum box testing: All the Welds of Bottom Plate of Fire Water Tank. Internal Visual Inspection of tanks: Inspection will include checking of Protective Coatings Condition, Roof plates shall be inspected for possible pin holes, Platforms and Structural shall be examined for corroded or broken parts. Tanks pads shall bevisually checked for settlement, sinking, tilting, spalling, crackingand general deterioration. Slope of tank pad shall be checked to ensurewater drainage. Anchor bolts shall be checked for tightness, Concretefoundation at anchor bolt shall be checked for cracks, Entire tank shellshall be visually scanned for signs of corrosion, pitting, cracking etc. Any additional test which may be required in fire water tank testing is also included in the rate and to be directed by site in charge.
