The bid capacity required in the given tender to bid having value and formulas is as follows: For non-MSEs: - Three similar completed works, each costing not less than Rs. 2.0 Cr. - Two similar completed works, each costing not less than Rs. 2.50 Cr. - One similar completed work costing not less than Rs. 4.0 Cr. Additionally, the bidder shall also have experience of having carried out significant Mechanical Maintenance jobs or Project Jobs or Turnaround Maintenance jobs in a single Purchase Order, including piping fabrication and erection of a cumulative quantity of 5,000 Inch-Dia or 25,000 Inch-Meter. To determine the bid capacity required, the pre-qualification criteria for bid capacity are as follows: * For non-MSEs: + Three similar completed works, each costing not less than 2.0 times the tender value. + Two similar completed works, each costing not less than 2.5 times the tender value. + One similar completed work costing not less than 4.0 times the tender value. * For MSEs: + Three similar completed works, each costing not less than 1.70 times the tender value. + Two similar completed works, each costing not less than 2.12 times the tender value. + One similar completed work costing not less than 3.40 times the tender value. The financial limit of the tender is Rs. 5 Crores basic cost. Therefore, the bid capacity required can be calculated using the following formulas: * For non-MSEs: + 2.0 x Tender Value + 2.5 x Tender Value + 4.0 x Tender Value * For MSEs: + 1.70 x Tender Value + 2.12 x Tender Value + 3.40 x Tender Value Substituting the tender value of Rs. 5 Crores, we get: * For non-MSEs: + 2.0 x 5 = Rs. 10 Crores + 2.5 x 5 = Rs. 12.5 Crores + 4.0 x 5 = Rs. 20 Crores * For MSEs: + 1.70 x 5 = Rs. 8.5 Crores + 2.12 x 5 = Rs. 10.6 Crores + 3.40 x 5 = Rs. 17 Crores So, the bid capacity required to bid for this tender is between Rs. 8.5 Crores to Rs. 20 Crores, depending on the type of bidder and the number of similar completed works.
