The required prior work experience for the bidder is experience in similar works. The experience certificate should be issued by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer and counter-signed by the City/Hydraulic/Superintending Engineer or equivalent officer. For Automation work, experience certificates issued by private organizations can be considered if supported by company registration certificates. The certificate of experience should have details of the work executed, value of the work, and percentage of work completed. Substantial completion shall be based on 80% (value wise) or more works completed under the contract. The bidder should have completed similar works with the following conditions: 1. Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost. 2. Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost. 3. One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. Additionally, the bidder should have an average annual financial turnover during the last 3 years of at least 30% of the estimated cost. The bidder should also demonstrate that the aggregate annual construction of certain items is achieved in any one financial year with minimum quantities representing 50% of the quantity put to tender.
