Existing Roof sheet removing : Removing of old Asbestos, cement or any type of roofing sheet from position fixed to parking MS structure (top of parking shed). Scope includes removal of sheets properly, shifting unservicable material outside ARAI premises at contractors risk & cost. Scope also includes necessary tools & tackles, scaffolding and required Safety PPE`s. Height of work up to 3.5 meters from ground level. Measurement : Measurement will be given in Sqm - incline length multiplied by width

Labour charges for Precoated roof sheet fixing along with necessary fabrication work: Labour charges for fixing existing availabale precoated GI profile sheets, The sheets shall be fixed using self drilling of self tapping screws ( contractor`s scope) of size 5.5 X 55 mm with EPDM seal or with polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8mm dia. with bitumen and GI limpet washers or with GI limpet washer filled with white lead complete upto any pitch in horizontal or vertical or curved surfaces as required. scope includes necessary fabrication work consisting of supports, purlins, rafters etc from available material (material will be provided by ARAI). including shifting of material (pre coated sheets & structural steel ) from scrap yard approximate 500 meters, cutting, bending, welding of section, one coat of primer & two coats of synthetic enamel paint etc. complete. Fabrication must be done as per requirement to meet stability of structure. Scope also includes sealing the holes in GI precoated sheets, tools & tackles and necessar scaffolding work. Measurement : Measurment will be given on Sqm area of precoated sheets only; laps, wastage , painting of anto corrosive paint, fabrication work, scaffolding, leakproofing, shifting will not be paid separately.

Providing and fixing new precoated GI profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by EIC). 0.50mm +/- 5% total coated thickness (TCT). Made up of high tensile steel mettlic hot dip coated with aluminium zinc alloy , Zinc coating min 120 gsm as per IS 277 in 240mpa steel grade, 5-7 micron epoxy primer on both sides of the sheets and polyster top coat 15-18 micron of approved shade. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches while transportation and should be supplied in single length of 12mtr or as desired by EIC. The sheets shall be fixed using self drilling of self tapping screws of size 5.5 X 55 mm with EPDM seal or with polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8mm dia. with bitumen and GI limpet washers or with GI limpet washer filled with white lead complete upto any pitch in horizontal or vertical or curved surfaces as required, scope inclusive of laps, wastage , painting of anto corrosive paint with necessary civil work for fixing new sheets and finishing edge with waterproofing plaster any scaffolding, leakproofing etc. complete. Scope includes removing of existing precoated sheet in proper manner and shifting to designated place within ARAI premises as per direction of Engineer in charge
