The bidder's prior work experience is considered based on the credentials submitted. For substantially completed work, payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. The value of the final bill, including the PVC amount, shall be considered as the completion cost of work. For similar works, the overall cost, including the PVC amount, of that completed work or substantially completed work, shall be considered. A subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor shall be asked for. In case a work is started prior to 07 years but completed in the last 07 years, the completed work shall be considered for fulfillment of credentials. The required documents to evaluate the credential against the criterion include the tenderer's annual contractual turnover and audited balance sheets duly certified by a Chartered Accountant. For joint ventures, the tender value should be Rs 10.00 crores and above. The work experience certificate from a public listed company having an average annual turnover of Rs.500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years shall be considered.
