The bid capacity required to bid in the given tender is as follows: (a) The tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed, any of the following during last 07 (seven) years, ending last day of month previous to the one in which tender is invited: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work each costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of advertised value of the tender. Given the advertised value of the tender is 186742134.85, the formulas for calculating the bid capacity required are: (i) 30% of 186742134.85 = 0.3 * 186742134.85 = 56022640.55 (ii) 40% of 186742134.85 = 0.4 * 186742134.85 = 74696853.94 (iii) 60% of 186742134.85 = 0.6 * 186742134.85 = 112045280.91 Therefore, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed similar works with values of at least 56022640.55, 74696853.94, or 112045280.91, depending on the number of similar works completed. Alternatively, the tenderer must have minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or V, whichever is less, where V = 1867.421345 crores, and N = 0.75 years. The minimum average annual contractual turnover can also be calculated as (Total Contractual Payments in previous 3 years) / 3, which should be equal to or more than the calculated value (V) for the tenderer to be eligible to bid.
