Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder involves successfully completing or substantially completing certain similar works within the last 07 years. The specific requirements are as follows: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In the case of composite works, the requirements are: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, or - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The bidder must also have a minimum average annual contractual turnover, calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years. The formula for this is V/N or V, whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. Similar nature of work includes any type of civil work.
