The required prior work experience for the bidder involves successfully completing or substantially completing specific categories of work within the last 07 years. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, no prior work experience is required for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh. Additionally, the bidder's average annual contractual turnover is considered, which should be a minimum of V/N or V, with V being the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N being the number of years prescribed for completion of work. The average annual contractual turnover is calculated based on the total contractual payments in the previous three financial years. Mentioned values and percentages include 30%, 40%, 60% of the advertised value of the tender or its components, and 35% of the value of the work to be subletted.
