The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: 1. Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, 2. Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, 3. One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In addition to this, the bidder should have a minimum average annual contractual turnover of 'V/N' or 'V' whichever is less, where V = Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work. For composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: 1. Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. 2. Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. 3. One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The average annual contractual turnover shall be calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet. Substantially Completed Work means an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. In case of completed work, the value of the final bill (gross amount) including the PVC amount (if paid) shall be considered as the completion cost of work. In case the final bill is pending, only the total gross amount already paid including the PVC amount (if paid) shall be considered as the completion cost of work. In case of substantially completed work, the total gross amount already paid including the PVC amount (if paid), as mentioned in the certificate, shall be considered as the cost of substantially completed work. For subcontractors, the required prior work experience includes successfully completing at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. The bidder's authorized engineer should have more than 3 years of experience in the relevant field of construction work involved in the contract. Mentioned values and percentages include: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender for three similar works - 40% of the advertised value of the tender for two similar works - 60% of the advertised value of the tender for one similar work - 35% of the value of the work to be subletted for subcontractors - 90% of the present contract value for substantially completed work - Rs. 50 lakh for subletting of work, where no previous work experience of subcontractor is required - Rs. 500 crore as the average annual turnover for a public listed company.
