The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing certain works within the last 7 years. The specific requirements are as follows: - Three similar works costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender. - Two similar works costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender. - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the tenderer must have completed: - Three similar works for each component, costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component. - Two similar works for each component, costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component. - One similar work for each component, costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component. Additionally, the bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The bidder must have also satisfactorily completed or substantially completed during the last 07 (seven) years, one similar single work for a minimum of 50% of advertised value of the tender. The value of a completed work done by a Member in an earlier JV shall be reckoned only to the extent of the concerned member's share in that JV. In case of completed work, the value of final bill (gross amount) including the PVC amount (if paid) shall be considered as the completion cost of work. In case of substantially completed work, the total gross amount already paid including the PVC amount (if paid) shall be considered as the cost of substantially completed work. The overall cost including the amount and percentage of similar works completed is considered for fulfillment of technical credentials. Specifically, 50% of advertised value of the tender and 25% of the cost of any component of work are the mentioned percentages. For subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subcontracted, in the last 5 years. However, no previous work experience is required for subletting work costing up to Rs 50 lakh.
