The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Additionally, for subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The bidder should have completed at least one similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The percentages of similar works completed are 30%, 40%, 60%, and 35% for different categories. The amounts are 30% of the advertised value of the tender, 40% of the advertised value of the tender, 60% of the advertised value of the tender, and 35% of the value of the work to be subletted. In case of partnership firms, the credentials of individual partners are considered to the extent of their share in the previous entity and their share in the newly formed partnership firm, with an example of 0.3*0.2*value of the work done in the previous entity, implying a consideration of 6% of the value of the work done.
