Extra over Item No. 3 for providing cement based waterproofing treatment to terraces / chajjas including cleaning the concrete surfaces, giving injections to the top slab as required with cement & approved waterproofing compound solution to fill up all inherent holes, voids honey-combs etc. in the concrete slab whereever required and setting "autoclaved aerated light weight block bats" coba in waterproof mortar 1:4 (using crushed sand) with necessary gradient for easy flow of water and laying Cement Mortar layer 20 mm tk. with waterproofing compound over block bat coba ( waterproofing compound @ 100 ml per 50 kg. of Cement) including cost of all materials, labour, machinery, tools & tackles and consumables all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Tentative / suggested make for the guidance of the bidders: For waterproofing compound Cico Super or equivalent make.

Providing structural repairs in old damaged concrete structures / surfaces with approved Polymer with following operations 1) Removal of loose/Spalled or damaged concrete by chipping and cleaning the concrete surface and reinforcement steel with wire brush and with water 2) Cleaning the re bars with Acetone for complete rust removal and washing with water to make the surface clean. 3) Applying protective coat / bond coat using polymer and cement in the proportion of 1; 1.5 (1 part of polymer and 1.5 parts of cement in synthetic enamal paint like consistancy with brush 4) Reinstate the area with polymer modified mortar in layers of maximum 20 mm with the proportion of Cement 50 Kg : washed and dried river sand 87.50 kg ; silica sand 37.50 Kg. mixed with 10 litres of Polymer (or 1 Kg cement : 1.75 kg washed and dried river sand ; 0.75 Kg silica sand : 200 ml polymer) 5) If thickness of repair exceeds 20mm , after every 20 mm thick repair, bond coat as per 2 above to be applied and further thick of repair to be continued for each layer. This work is inclusive of all materials, labour, complete all as directed at site using approved polymer suitable for structural repair shall be used) Note: Scaffolding will be paid separately under relevant item

Providing and applying 3 (Three) - component cold liquid applied, UV resistant, polyester resin based membrane waterproofing system with crack-bridging capability and water vapour permeability by : (A) Surface preparation : The substrate must be dry (in concrete, the residual moisture in the upper 20mm must be 5 %), sound and free from any material that would hinder adhesion. All surfaces must be free from gross irregularities, loose, unsound or foreign material such as dirt, ice, snow, water, grease, oil, release agents, lacquers, or any other condition that would be detrimental to adhesion of the primer and substrate. This requires careful preparation of existing horizontal and vertical substrates; cracks are filed, expansion joints are prepared, flashings are removed or modified, and termination points are determined. (B) Primer Coat : Pre-Measured Packed 2 (Two) component, solvent-free, high solids, highly penetrative, quick-cure, low VOC, high bonding Epoxy Based Primer, having excellent adhesive property to all substrates, on the clean and grinded surface. Pour Component B into Component A and mix the components for approximately 2 minutes with a clean spiral agitator on low speed without creating any bubbles or streaks and without aerating or thinning of the primer. The primer should be a uniform clear color, with no light or dark streaks present. Apply the primer evenly with roller and immediately lightly sprinkle silica sand (size 0.4 – 0.8mm) over the same. The primer should be completely dry for further application of liquid applied polyester resin based membrane. Primer exposed for more than 7days must be re-primed. The coverage of primer approx. 7.9 Sqm per 5 Kg and may depend on the smoothness and absorbency of substrate. (C) Top Coat : Pre-Measured Packed 3 (Three) component cold liquid applied waterproofing system based on Unsaturated Polyester Resin and special needle punched non woven, system compatible polyester fleece of minimum 165 GSM as reinforcement. The cold liquid applied reinforced system shall have high crack-bridging property & UV stablility with immediate rain proof performance. Add Catalyst powder (Component C) to waterproofing Component A and mix thoroughly for approx. 20 min. Waterproofing component B shall be stirred throughly and mixed in the ratio of 1:1 and mix thoroughly until no streaks are visible and it should be unifrom. If atmospheric temp. exceeds 25 Deg celcius then add inhibitor to component B as per manufactures specification. Applying approx. 2/3rd of the waterproofing mix material to the primed substrate uniformly and roll the Fleece with roller, removing all air bubbles and allowing an overlap of min. 50 mm. The remaining 1/3rd of the waterproofing mix material shall be poured on the surface until complete saturation of the fleece is achieved. The system is totally wet on wet surface and no time lag should be allowed during the complete laying of the system. The coverage of top coat approx. 2.5 to 3.3 Kg/Sqm depending upon the nature and condition of the substrate. 'The rate of above waterproofing system shall include the cost of all materials, labour, machinery, tools & tackles and consumables all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The above waterproofing system shall have following properties : 1. Tensile strength : min. 8 N/Sqmm 2. Elongation : min. 44 %. 3. Adhesive strength : min. 2 N/Sqmm 4. Crack bridging capability : upto 2mm 5. Hardness (Shore A): min.70 6. VOC Content : max. 44 gm/lit. or 3.8% Notes : 1. The Waterproofing Applicator shall provide 10 (Ten) years Leak Proof Performance warranty for the complete waterproofing work. 2. Entire builtup system will be of single waterproofing products manufacturer. 3. Tentative/suggested make for the guidance of bidder (s): Kemperol V210 system of M/s Kemper System Pvt. Ltd. or equivalent make.

Providing and fixing PVC rain water pipes - - SWR PIPE 110 mm O/D conforming to relevant IS type B and PVC SWR fittings & specials conforming to relevant IS including jointing with seal ring / With PVC solvent adhesive including fixing in walls using clamps etc complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Providing and fixing double tubular scaffolding system using H- frames with cup lock type on the exterior side upto seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and as approved by the Engineer -in - charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding

Supplying of Unskilled man power / labour for loading / unloading, area cleaning and miscworks. etc. including cost of equipement whichever is required at site.

Repairs to the RCC structural members of concrete surface / RCC brackets with form finish, concrete finish using Super Fluid Micro Concrete general purpose approved grout powder using Roffe concrete repair, item includes the operations of breaking cracked /spalled concrete members along the cracks and taking down the debris to ground level and stacking/disposing of debris within a lead of 50 mtr as directed, exposing and cleaning the reinforcement bars thoroughly by tapping wire brushing emery papering and finally by chemicals such as acetone or eqvt. and brushing subsequently and applying a protective coat of polymer and cement mixed in the ratio of 1:1.5(1 polymer:1.5cement) by volume to the reinforcement bars and casting /grouting with Super Fluid MicroConcrete in the proportion of grout powder and aggregates of quartz/granite rounded chips of size 6 mm down graded or eqvt. In the ratio of 1powder: 0.50 aggregate by weight including centering and leaktight shuttering form work using plywood board and removal of the same after grouting, curing etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engg-In-charge. Note: (1) Mode of measurement shall be in Kg. of SFMC powder consumed only. (2) SFMC powder will be supplied by the Contractor. (3) Protective coat to reinforcement and bond coat over adjacent concrete surface also is a part of this work.
