Anchors must be manufactured under an NQA-1 nuclear quality assurance program with comprehensive approvals. Design of the Anchor should be done as per ACI 349 Codes using profis engineering or equivalent software as per the load data and actual site conditions and reports shall be submitted to BARC for verification as and when required. The installation and the setting instructions should be strictly followed as per the manufacturers. Anchors should be enabled with tracefast technology for reliable identification of anchors using scannable Data Matrix code (DMC) containing item description, batch number, serial number, technical specification and setting instructions of the anchor. All anchors must be possible to be tightened by a power tool that enables documentation in the impact wrench documentation software. The report shall be auto-generated from the impact wrench module and submitted to BARC as a proof of correct installation at the site. Before installation, proper scanning of the surface is to be conducted using Ferro scan. Signed and Stamped Authorization letter from the registered Indian Entity of the OEM of anchors shall be submitted for supplying the anchors, to establish that authentic anchor has been supplied.
