(2) For all items under this work order which require scaffolding, the Scaffolding will be measured and paid only once, irrespective of duration of scaffolding for the entire work and shall not be seperately paid for each item. (3) Scaffolding shall be removed only after completion of all works. (4) The scaffolding once provided shall be removed after the entire work is neatly completed in all respects and payment shall be made after completion of all works and measurement will be taken only once.
(5) Necessary aluminium/ M.S. ladder/staircase module shall be provided at the cost of the contractor, upto the full height of scaffolding at required locations around the building to enable department Engineer/Supervisor to closely supervise the repair work at heights.The cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (6)Contractor has to make arrangement at his own expenses for temporary sealing of windows/openings with plywood, to avoid breaking of windows panes, and covering outdoor ac units during the progress of work (7) Wherever scaffolding has to be erected over existing lawns or flowerbeds, then all such locations shall be completely covered with tarpaulins before erecting scaffolding. (8) Safety nets and nylon screens shall be provided for full height of scaffolding to prevent falling of debris and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (9) Scaffolding shall be erected as per the provisions of IS 3697 (10) All safety precautions and measures shall be taken as per BARC Construction safety Manual.

Note :
(1) Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Degree holder with 2 (two ) year experience or Diploma holder with 5 (five) year experience (Licentiate in Civil/Construction Engineering / Technology) conducted by Board of Technical Examinations / University/ Autonomous Govt / Govt recognized recognized Polytechnic/ Institute. (2) Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Engineer for each job for minimum 26 working days per month for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/maintainance work, the Engineer will have to stay longer occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge. No additional payment will be made on this account.
(3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out number of Jobs per month as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
(4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one Engineer exclusively for the particular job.
(5) Engineer should be engage after scrutiny by EIC of CED,BARC and approved by Competent authority and the deployed engineer will report to BARC Engineer/EIC. (6) The minimum notice period before the change of engineer is 1 (one) month; failing which a compensation, for not providing technical support, of Rs. 1693/- per day shoftfall in notice period will be levied on the contractor.
