M & L for rough excavation n exc 1.5 m deep & getting out in hard dense soil including clearing of all grass, shrubs, trees not exceeding 30 cm girth, undergrowth, roots, cleaning of site & removal of all rubbish outside Factory premises etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i) The work to be executed in the existing swarf yard. Hence the work may be required to be carried out in phased manner as per directives of MTPF Store section. The Contractor shall shift the existing swarf / metal chips to a nearest location as per directives of Store section for carrying out the work and shall require to reshift the same in original location after work completion. The Contractor may visit site for assessing quantum of work before quoting. Any claim for extra payment in this regard shall not be entertained at any stage of work.ii) Contractor shall take care that underground service lines shall not be damaged during excavation.iii) In Case of any damage, the same shall be rectified by the Contractor immediately at his own risk & cost.

M & L for Earth work in excavation in hard rock surface / concrete surface by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) in foundation trenches or drains, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i) The work to be executed in the existing swarf yard. Hence the work may be required to be carried out in phased manner as per directives of MTPF Store section. The Contractor shall shift the existing swarf / metal chips to a nearest location as per directives of Store section for carrying out the work and shall require to reshift the same in original location after work completion. The Contractor may visit site for assessing quantum of work before quoting. M & L for Earth work in excavation in all kind of soils by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge Important Notes: i) The work to be executed in the existing swarf yard. Hence the work may be required to be carried out in phased manner as per directives of MTPF Store section. The Contractor shall shift the existing swarf / metal chips to a nearest location as per directives of Store section for carrying out the work and shall require to reshift the same in original location after work completion. M & L for excavating in trenches in mud for drain work, including getting out etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i) The work to be executed in the existing swarf yard. Hence the work may be required to be carried out in phased manner as per directives of MTPF Store section. The Contractor shall shift the existing swarf / metal chips to a nearest location as per directives of Store section for carrying out the work and shall require to reshift the same in original location after work completion. The Contractor may visit site for assessing quantum of work before quoting. Any claim for extra payment in this regard shall not be entertained at any stage of work. ii) Contractor shall take care that underground service lines shall not be damaged during excavation. iii) In Case of any damage, the same shall be rectified by the Contractor immediately at his own risk & cost.

M & L for use and waste of timbering Exc 1.5 m but n exc 3.00 m depth as planking and strutting for excavations in trenches in soil, including wales, struts, open poling boards, etc. as may be necessary and fixing and removal etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i) The measurement shall be carried out before filling of earth. ii) The Contractor shall secure the excavated sides of soil neatly for safety during work & to arrest any soil collapse in the trench / temporary drain.

M & L for use and waste of tightly driven close butt jointed sheeting including packing of cavities behind the sheeting with suitable material Exc 3 m in depth as planking and strutting for excavations in trenches in soil, including wales, struts, open poling boards, etc. as may be necessary and fixing and removal etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i) The measurement shall be carried out before filling of earth. ii) The Contractor shall secure the excavated sides of soil neatly for safety during work & to arrest any soil collapse in the trench / temporary drain etc.

M & L for returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i] Compaction & site clearance shall be ensured by the Contractor during returning, filling in work.

M & L for removing excavated materials including all type of soils up to a total distance of 1.5 Km and depositing where directed in low lying areas including leveling of soil after depositing to required level, complete cleaning of site etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i] Contractor shall neatly deposit the excavated material to earmarked place & shall level the same with mechanical equipment to the entire satisfaction of the Factory Authorities. ii] for measurement of Qty, decision of EIC & Competent Authority shall be final & binding.

M & L for removing excavated materials including all types of rocks / concrete rubbles / stone rubbles etc up to a total distance of 1.5 Km and depositing where directed including leveling of material after depositing to required level, complete cleaning of site etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i] Contractor shall neatly deposit the excavated material to earmarked place & shall level the same with mechanical equipment to the entire satisfaction of the Factory Authorities. ii] for measurement of Qty, decision of EIC & Competent Authority shall be final & binding.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting with 8 to 12 Tonne Power vibratory roller etc all complete as directed by the Engg In Charge. Important Notes: i] Contractor shall deploy vibratory roller for effective compaction. ii] Due care shall be taken by the Contractor by placing timber / metal planks & struts for other excavated trenches so that other soil mass shall not collapse during rolling by vibratory roller.

M & L for Soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, inter stices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with spread thickness of Minimum 200 mm etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i] The Contractor shall roll / consolidate the soil layer to the entire satisfaction of EIC before laying layer of soling. ii] The interstices between the broken stones shall be fully filled as per directives of the Engg in Charge

M & L for rolling & consolidating Soling of broken boulders or quarried stone, with Power Vibratory roller with 8 to 12 Tonne Power vibratory roller etc all complete as directed by the Engg In Charge. Important Notes: i] Contractor shall deploy vibratory roller for effective compaction of soling layer. ii] Due care shall be taken by the Contractor by placing timber / metal planks & struts for other excavated trenches so that other soil mass shall not collapse during rolling by vibratory roller.

Labour work for hardcore of broken stone or boulders ,deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rolled/rammed to a true surface Except Material i.e. existing stone from demolished walls to be used for hardcore purpose including breaking of stones to required guage etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i] Proper Compaction of the Hardcore shall be ensured by the Contractor.

M & L for Hardcore of broken stone or boulders of guage exc 63mm but n exc. 100 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rolled/rammed to a true surface etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i] Proper Compaction of the Hardcore shall be ensured by the Contractor.

M & L for cement concrete M-10 Grade (40 mm graded aggregate) in foundations, filling & mass concrete including use of side form as required including thorough compaction with needle vibrator, curing, cleaning of site & site surrounding at each day’s work etc all complete as directed by the Engg In Charge. Important Notes: i] The Contractor shall use Ready Mix Concrete as approved by the EIC & shall submit its composition certificate from respective RMC unit for each RMC vehicle coming to site. ii] Contractor shall carry out cube test of concrete as desired by EIC & shall submit test certificate from Govt. approved lab at his own cost.

M & L for Design Mix concrete M-20 Grade (20 mm graded aggregates) for Foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc.; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete etc including thorough compaction with needle vibrator, curing for not less than 28 days with gunny bags for columns / beams & pond curing for floors / slabs, provision of small drains & pit for collection for coolant & oil form the swarf with necessary formwork provision inside shed area, cleaning of site & site surrounding at each day’s work etc all complete as directed by the Engg In Charge. Important Notes: i] The Contractor shall carry out the RCC design work for all RCC works from the Govt. approved, license holder RCC designer and shall submit the detailed drawings for reinforcement duly signed by the Govt. approved RCC designer. ii] The Contractor shall use Ready Mix Concrete as approved by the EIC & shall submit its composition certificate from respective RMC unit for each RMC vehicle coming to site. iii] Contractor shall carry out cube test of concrete as desired by EIC & shall submit test certificate from Govt. approved lab at his own cost.

M & L for Design Mix concrete M-20 Grade (20 mm graded aggregates) in Walls, retaining walls, basement walls, ballast walls and the like; any thickness; above top of footings; including attached pilasters and buttresses including thorough compaction with needle vibrator, curing, cleaning of site & site surrounding at each day’s work etc all complete as directed by the Engg In Charge. Important Notes: i] The Contractor shall carry out the RCC design work for all RCC works from the Govt. approved, license holder RCC designer and shall submit the detailed drawings for reinforcement duly signed by the Govt. approved RCC designer. ii] The Contractor shall use Ready Mix Concrete as approved by the EIC & shall submit its composition certificate from respective RMC unit for each RMC vehicle coming to site. iii] Contractor shall carry out cube test of concrete as desired by EIC & shall submit test certificate from Govt. approved lab at his own cost. iv] Contractor shall ensure provision of weep holes with necessary pipes laid at regular intervals at his own cost. The details of same shall be shown in the design of retaining wall.

Providing and laying Non Pressure NP-3 class (Medium duty) 1200 mm bore dia R.C.C. pipes including collars/spigot jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 (1 cement : 2 fine sand) including testing of joints, with & including provision of manhole covers for cleaning of drains etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i) Sample of pipes shall be got approved from EIC before fixing. ii) Laying of pipes shall be done with due safety by mechanical means.

M & L for Moorum / red bajri filling in floors laid in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed including watering etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i] Proper Compaction of the Moorum shall be ensured by the Contractor.

M & L for Design Mix concrete M-20 Grade (20 mm graded aggregates) in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like including thorough compaction with needle vibrator, curing, cleaning of site & site surrounding at each day’s work, provision of covers for manholes with lifting arrangement etc all complete as directed by the Engg In Charge. Important Notes: i] The Contractor shall carry out the RCC design work for all RCC works from the Govt. approved, license holder RCC designer and shall submit the detailed drawings for reinforcement duly signed by the Govt. approved RCC designer. ii] The Contractor shall use Ready Mix Concrete as approved by the EIC & shall submit its composition certificate from respective RMC unit for each RMC vehicle coming to site. iii] Contractor shall carry out cube test of concrete as desired by EIC & shall submit test certificate from Govt. approved lab at his own cost.

M& L for Formwork flat and with fair finish surface to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter including thorough cleaning of site & site surrounding at each day’s work etc all complete as directed by the Engg In Charge. Important Notes: i] Contractor shall use approved make of ply for shuttering as approved by the EIC. ii] In case of any defect, the contractor shall immediately rectify / replace shuttering to entire satisfaction of TE / EIC / SIC / Fy. Supervisor.

M& L for Formwork to faces of walls, retaining walls, abutments, parapets and staircase railings and similar work including attached pillasters, buttresses, etc.; vertical or to batter including thorough cleaning of site & site surrounding at each day’s work etc all complete as directed by the Engg In Charge. Important Notes: i] Contractor shall use approved make of ply for shuttering as approved by the EIC. ii] In case of any defect, the contractor shall immediately rectify / replace shuttering to entire satisfaction of TE / EIC / SIC / Fy. Supervisor.

M& L for Formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work; not exceeding 200mm thick including thorough cleaning of site & site surrounding at each day’s work etc all complete as directed by the Engg In Charge. Important Notes: i] Contractor shall use approved make of ply for shuttering as approved by the EIC. ii] In case of any defect, the contractor shall immediately rectify / replace shuttering to entire satisfaction of TE / EIC / SIC / Fy. Supervisor.

S & F TMT steel bars of required dia as per RCC design, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips etc all complete as directed by the Engg In Charge. Important Notes: i] The Contractor shall carry out the RCC design work for all RCC works from the Govt. approved, license holder RCC designer at his own cost and shall submit the detailed drawings for reinforcement duly signed by the Govt. approved RCC designer. ii] Sample of TMT bars for each dia used shall be got approved from EIC before incorporating in work. iii] Contractor shall carry out Test as desired by the EIC from Govt. approved Lab& shall submit test certificate from Govt. approved lab at his own cost.

M & L for Steel stanchions built up of one beam or channel section Fe-410-W (Gde-E-250) quality A [Make: Tata / Jindal / SAIL or other reputed make with ISI Mark as approved by the EIC] Steel with flange plates, caps, bases. splices, angle brackets, cleats and other connections etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i] The MS section shall be with ISI mark. ii] The sample of approved make of material shall be got approved from EIC before use in work iii] All safety precautions as per Factory norms shall be strictly followed by Contractor & his workers. iv] Contractor shall get the structural Design from Govt. Approved designer at his own cost & shall submit detailed drawings for the same for approval of Competent Authority.

S & F Roof trusses (framed), trussed, purlins, crane gantries, rails and fastenings and heavy bracket framing (Beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections Fe-410-W (Gde-E-250) quality A) [Make: Tata / Jindal / SAIL or other reputed make with ISI mark as approved by the EIC] including distance pieces, cleats etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i] The MS section shall be with ISI mark. ii] The sample of approved make of material shall be got approved from EIC before use in work. iii] Contractor shall get the structural Design from Govt. Approved designer at his own cost & shall submit detailed drawings for the same for approval of Competent Authority. iv] All safety precautions as per Factory norms shall be strictly followed by Contractor & his workers.

S & F Plates of required thickness Fe-410-W (Gde-E-250) quality A, including drilling holes, fixing in position with nuts & bolts etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i] The sample of plates shall be got approved from the EIC before fixing / use in work.

S & F Mild steel screw bolts 16 to 20 mm dia or of dia as per approved structural design (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, of required dia & length as per structural designer's drawings and as per required shape etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i] Contractor shall carry out structural design work for shade from Govt. approved structural designer. ii] Contractor shall provide the nuts & bolts as per the approved foundation design by structural designer. iii] The portion of bolts to be embedded in Concrete shall be coated with bitumen paint. iv] All safety precautions as per Factory norms shall be strictly followed by Contractor & his workers.

M & L for Brickwork with sub class B bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i] Contractor shall use dust free sand for mortar preparation ii] Cement used shall be of one make through out the work & shall not be more than one month old. iii] Sample of all materials bricks, sand, cement etc shall be got approved from the EIC before use in works.

M & L for Rendering 20mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in CM 1:4 with sprinkling of sand particles with the use of mechanical equipment when the plaster is still tacky etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i] Contractor shall use dust free sand for mortar preparation ii] Cement used shall be of one make throughout the work & shall not be more than one month old. iii] Sample of all materials shall be got approved from the EIC before use in works.

M & L for painting surfaces of any description including preparation of surfaces, priming with red oxide zinc chrome and applying two coats of synthetic enamel [Make for primer & paint : 1st quality from Asian / Nerolac / Indigo / Berger] including all safety precautions, cleaning of site & removal of all rubbish outside Factory Premises etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i] Sample of Primer & paint shall be got approved from the EIC. ii] All safety precautions as per Factory norms shall be strictly followed by Contractor & his workers.

S & F Pre- painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of selected colour & pattern having tensile strength of 550 Mpa [Make: Tata Durashine / JSW Colouron + / SAIL] as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as specified with and including material and labour for curved portion at the end of the slope on both sides of roof as indicated by Factory authorities etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i] The Contractor shall prepare & submit detailed drawing for placing of Galvalume sheets including details of curved portion at the ends on both sides for approval of competent authority. ii] The sample of material of reputed make shall be got approved from the EIC before fixing.

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i] Contractor shall prepare detailed drg with required design & pattern of colour combination for approval of competent authority ii] Sample of Paver block Design & pattern etc shall be got approved from Competent Auth. before work.

M & L for Finishing walls with 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint [Make : 1st Quality from Asian / Nerolac / Berger / Indigo] of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives New work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm. Over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 sqm etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i] The primer applied surface shall be shown to SIC/EIC before applying coats of exterior paint. ii] Similarly each coat of paint to be shown to SIC/EIC for approval. iii] The final finish of the paint shall be up to the entire satisfaction of the EIC & Contractor shall carry out the work strictly as per specification of the manufacturer.

M & L for forming Minimum 20 mm thick expansion joints filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30 mm primed and sealed with sealing compound Grade B including provision of 20 mm dia mild steel dowel bars 50cm long (25cm in each slab) with ferrules, spaced at 300 mm centers, including boring form work and preformed filler for dowels etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge.

M & L for Framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section Fe-410-W (Gde-E-250) quality A with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings / steel sliding arrangement, guide to be fixed neatly on the ground with proper anchorage and hanging; also fastening and fixing, arrangement for locking etc complete all as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Note: Sample & design of gate shall be got approved from the EIC before fixing.

All Works with materials for detailed topographical survey of the area including preparation of contour maps of the entire area & detailing the complete project on the map with details of each & every structure of the project indicating levels of all the components like foundation, plinth beams, base concrete of the area, hard standing concrete of area etc ensuring proper levels & effective drainage of water & also the detailed architectural, construction & working drawings of all the structures in the project with required details, design of drainage system of entire area so that all water shall be effectively drained out in new drain or existing drainage system etc as desired by Competent Authority and all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Notes: i. Contractor shall carry out survey & shall submit the complete detailed drawings on or before 15 days of award of the work. ii. Contractor shall also submit all the architectural, structural drawings duly prepared by the Govt. Approved structural designer within 15 days of award of work. iii. Contractor shall give presentation of complete project with all relevant details in front of Competent Authority. iii. The Contractor shall make necessary changes as suggested by Competent Authority in all the drawings at his own cost & shall submit the revised final drawings with presentation to the entire satisfaction of the Competent Authority.

M & L for raking out joints / pointing to random rubble or polygonal rubble uncoursed or brought up to courses in cement or cement lime mortar etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge.

M & L for Raised pointing to random or polygonal rubble, uncoursed or brought upto courses in Cement Mortar 1: 3 etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge.

Cutting holes superficial area Exc 150 Sq. cm but n exc 400 Sq.cm into or through stone walls built in cement mortar and making good in cement mortar 1:3 or cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-l as required etc all complete as directed by the Engg In Charge

Supply & Fixing Sheet Metal Enclosure, Single Door, 230VAC, Material: PVC or Metal, Single Pole & Neutral 8 Way, Single Plate, IP65 rating (Make: Siemens/ Schneider/ Legrand/ L&T/ ABB) etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Note: Sample of all materials shall be got approved from EIC before use in work

Supply and fixing 240VAC 10KA 'B' curve miniature circuit breaker (MCB), (Make: ABB/Siemens/L&T/Schneider) of DP and 63 Amp current carrying capacity in the DB complete with connection testing and commissioning all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Note: Sample of all materials shall be got approved from EIC before use in work.

Supply and fixing 240V 10KA 'C' curve miniature circuit breaker (MCB) (Make: ABB/Siemens/L&T/Schneider) of SP and 5-32 Amp current carrying capacity in the DB complete with connection testing and commissioning all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Note: Sample of all materials shall be got approved from EIC before use in work.

Supply and Fixing of Isolator 2 Pole, 240V, 40 Amp, 16KA, (Make: L&T / Schneider / ABB / Siemens), works include termination of incoming and outgoing cable in suitable MCB Mounting Box etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Note: Sample of all materials shall be got approved from EIC before use in work.

Supply and Fixing of XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, 3 Core, cross-sectional area 6 sq. mm, (Make: Polycab / Havells / RR / Plaza) etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Note: Sample of all materials shall be got approved from EIC before use in work.

M & L for Wiring for Circuit / Submain wiring along with earth wire with 2 x 4 sq.mm + 1 X 4 Sq.mm earth wire of FR PVC insulated copper conductor (Make: Finolex / Polycab / Havells ) in PVC Conduit Pipe of Min. thickness 1.5 MM, (Make: Precision / Pressfit / Finolex) etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Note: Sample of all materials shall be got approved from EIC before use in work.

Fixing only LED light fitting 40 /50 Watt flame proof, CMRI certified recommended for gas/ vapor group of IIA & IIIB, Zone 1 & 2 and IP 65 protection with die cast aluminum housing with heat resistant toughened glass, with LED tube light fixtures driver, holders, connector etc. Complete with all accessories prewired and including connecting up with three core flexible copper conductor cable with suitable size etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Note: Sample of all materials shall be got approved from EIC before use in work.

M & L for Boxes junctions, plastic, round, four / two terminals, 1.5 mm thickness, for mounting of ceiling rose all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Note: Sample of all materials shall be got approved from EIC before use in work.

Material and Labour for Ceiling rose, 3-Phase / PVC / Polycarbonate, isolated body all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Important Note: Sample of all materials shall be got approved from EIC before use in work.
