Item Description/ Heading

Operation and maintenance of sewage treatment plant to ensure smooth, efficient and uninterrupted operation of STP 4000 cum/day capacity which implies routinely observing and analyzing the physical and chemical characteristics of effluent before, during and after their treatment in STP including routine and periodic maintenance of equipment’s and units, mechanical and electrical parts as described in scope of work. Deployment of adequate man power to operate the whole system round the clock 365 days of year including Horticulture work of main STP plant &up keeping of entire premises as per inst. of EIC. The whole system of STP consist of operation and maintenance of raw sewage pumps at Gole market near Gurudwara and at site of STP inlet chamber, screen chamber, grit chamber, Aeration tank, secondary clarifier, sludge drying bed and discharge unit of treated sewage. (a) Daily log or diary should be maintained to record events, operation and test results during plant operation. Following information required:- i). Flow meter reading ii). Period of operation of each equipment iii). Preventive measure and repair works to be carried out. iv). Information of break down to the dept (Materials required are included.) Note: Manpower engaged for this item, per day Operator/ General Mazdoor- 07 Nos Electrician/ Fitter- 01 Nos Double wages as per current rate will be recovered in case of short engagement of labours. (Special condition- if the plant is in break down condition for more than 6 hours in a day for any reason other than disruption of power supply a deduction of Rs. 2000/ day will be done.)

Procurement of reagent, daily testing of raw & treated effluent as per norms weekly testing from authorized laboratory (For SOD, PH & SS in STP) including cost of all accessories.
