The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing similar works, with specific value and percentage requirements. The bidder should have completed either three similar works, each costing not less than 20% of the probable amount of the contract, or two similar works, each costing not less than 30% of the probable amount of the contract, or one similar work of aggregate cost not less than 50% of the probable amount of the contract in any one financial year during the last 5 financial years. The employer signing the completion certificate of similar work means an officer of rank not below Executive Engineer (EE) of any Government/Semi Government/Government Undertaking/Local Self Government of any State Government or Government of India. For the qualification criteria in a joint venture, the lead partner must have a share minimum of 51% in the JV, and the other partner(s) must have a share of minimum 26% in the JV, with specific conditions for similar works completed by each partner.
