Decanning transformer oil complete taking out cores and windings from body and put in oven for heating the coils for improvement of insulation resistance till proper insulation results achived, cleaning transformer body inside and out side complete, painting with two coats of super enamelled paint inside and out side the body complete after scratching and removing old paint layers, refixing cores and coils in transformer body. Refilling oil, dehydration and filteration of oil to improve the dielectric strength /insulation value of transformer oil upto 60 KV and carryout test results such as megger test, Ratio Test, magnetic balance test, short circuit test, full load test, including replacement of wornout nuts bolts, all gaskets, packing sheets, sleeves, temp gauge etc complete reshifting the transformer at MRS install on platform and connecting HT 33 KV /11 KV connection incl replacement of clamps nuts bolts & washer complete connecting and making control wiring system in serviceable condition and testing of transformer on full load complete all as specified and directed.
Note : Test report of transformer shall be submit to Engr-in-Charge duly signed

Filtration/dehydration of transformer oil through filtration plant including recording of dielectric strength result before and after of dehydration. Necessary test report shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge for each transformer to improve the dielectric strength/insulation value of the transformer oil upto 60KV. NOTE:- (a) The contractor shall be take shut down orders in working before commencement of the work from Engineer-in-charge. (b) The contractor shall ensure no wastage in transformer oil (c) The contractor solely responsible for any damage to the transformer during filtration operations. He is responsible for making good any damage to the transformer at his own cost without any extra cost to the department (d) The contractor shall ensure that the conservator tanks are full to its level before starting the dehydration.

Note:- (i) HT & LT copper coil/strips and insulation material PCB electrical grade such as barriers coil to coil insulation block and rings insulation cylinders, ebonite sleeves shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of schedules/BOQ. (ii) The rate quoted is deemed to be included for cutting / chipping of RCC and for the minor grill work such as PCC, plastering foundation work. (iii) Proper drying shall be done in drying chamber after drying, taking the core coil assembly, filling the filtered transformer oil having good dielectric strength, replacement of suitable size rubberized cork gasket, bolts and nuts etc complete by fixing top cover, conservator etc, through cleaning and painting to the transformer with good quality paint complete and testing complete at civil workshop.

(v) Installation of transformer, testing and connecting the both HT & LT cables, commissioning of transformer after checking voltage and all loading the transformer to the full load all as specified and directed. (vi) The cost of coil will be inclusive of varnish sleeving and insulating material.

Opening the 1000 KVA transformer cover along with the conservator by removing the nut bolts then after removing the internal HT & LT connections by taking them out by removing studs, bushings taking out the core winding assembly out of the tank of the transformer, cleaning of core assembly by spraying forced TR oil, having ratio 11/0.433KV, draining & decaning of burnt transformer oil and clearing of sludge deposited in the tank with CTC for the transformer. Reconditioning of LT coil, Heating of core winding assembly in hot chamber for 48 hours and remove all the moisture present in it, removal of leakage of tank if any by carefully welding, refilling transformer oil to tank with filteration upto suitable die electric strength to tank, after putting the core-winding assembly into the tank, reassembling making the internal HT & LT connections by fixing the studs, bushing & fitting top cover by replacing cork sheet gasket along with conservator, testing the transformer in the workshop duly filled with oil, including transportation of transformer from site to workshop and vice a versa complete all as specified & directed. Note:- (i) unserviceable items required for repairs shall be measured and paid under relevant item of this schedule/BOQ.
(ii) Transformer oil with die electric strength not less than 60 KV either new or filtered shall be filled and shall be measured and paid separately under respective item.

Material and Labour for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 600mmx600mmx6mm thick burried in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25meters below ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 meter below the ground level, earth plate surrounded 15cm thick layers of common salt and charcoal dust starting from ground below 15 cm of earth plate and up to 15 cm above the same. GI plate connected with galvanised iron strip of 32x6 mm by means of Copper nuts, bolts and washers. Strip laid in 40mm dia light grade GI pipe as protection from top of the plate up to test point (cost of protection pipe up to 7.5 meters from earth electrode will be included in the rates quoted by the contractor) with following complete all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I & testing on completion :-
(a) GI strip of size 32mm x 6mm. (b) Watering pipe GI light grade 20mm dia from top of the earth electrode up to MS funnel with wire mesh embeded in floor of PCC earth pit. (GI Funnel should properly tightned on GI watering pipe and embeded in PCC floor of earth pit with open top suitable for watering of earth pits)
(c) Excavation & earthwork in any type of soil PCC earth pit 30x30x30cm constructed in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 exposed surfaces smoothly finished with 15mm thick cement mortar 1:6 plaster including RCC pit cover 50mm thick 1:2:4 type B1 reinforced with 8mm dia mild steel bar 75mm centre to centre with 2 Nos MS handles of 12mm dia suitable for carrying of pit cover.
