M&L for 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size), spread rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required by using 8 to 10 Tonne power roller, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 4.00 above except material.

M&L for preparation of unsurfaced water bound macadam top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc & applying evenly a primer tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 at the rate 10 kg per 10 sqm for laying bituminous semi dense asphaltic concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen binder of VG-30 grade content 4% by weight of total mix and compacted to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation existing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc & applying evenly a primer tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 at the rate 5 kg per 10 sqm for laying bituminous semi dense asphaltic concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Bituminous semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete.

M&L for Bituminous semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete.

S&F shancked reflective raised payment markers on both the edge line and centre line of the road with is body surafce made of tough polycarbonate and its reflective lens made of polycarbonate and micro prismatic lens (Capable of providing total intenal reflectgion ) electronically welded to the body modal 3M 290 series or equivalent to the lenght height and width of the body will not exceced 150M, 20mm and 110mm respectively the lower surafce of the RPM will be supported with two nylon shanks each of lenght not less than 20mm the areas of each reflective surface will not be less 130 sq cm sloping at anangle of not more than 28 deg to the base to ensure max reflectively, complete all as specified and directedc. M&L for road line painting with golden yellow/white thermostatic compound with reflectorised glass beads on bituminous road, providing and laying of hot applied thermostatic compound 2.5 mm thick including glass beads @ 250 gm per sqm area thickness 2.5mm is exclusive of surface applied, glass beads as per IRC-35 cleaning of old road marking paint. The finish surface to be level and uniform and free from streaks and holes in addition where arrows or letter to be provided thermoplastic compound may be hard spalayed. The colour of compound shall be as directed. Make: Shalimark of STP Ltd / Kataline or equivalent make as approved by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: The rates included for provision of red signals to keep off traffic from wet paint, cleaning road surfaces and working during odd hours when traffic is light.

Notes for item No 07, 09, 10:- (i) Only minus price variation in qty of binder obtained from design mix shall be adjusted through minus price Rs 42/per kg of qty of binder. No adjustment for plus variation in qty of binder shall be admissible. (ii) Cost of testing charges, materials and transportations etc for job mix formula shall be inclusive in the unit rate and no extra payment shall be admissible on this account. (iii) Mix shall be obtained from hot mix plant and spreading shall be done by using mechanical paver and materials shall be transported in tipper (covered).
