Material and labour for checking and finding out pin point location of fault in HT 11 KV underground cable with the help of fault locating High Tech mobile machine complete all as directed. Note : (i) Charges for rent and transportation of the fault locating high tech mobile machine including DG Set, necessary earth work for repair HT cable, testing of cable after repair, charges for operator, engineer, electricians etc deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Fault locating high tech mobile machine will be provided as and when required on short notice otherwise an amount of Rs. 5000/Per day will be charged as penalty.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 6mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level (with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 metre below ground level) connected to galvanized iron earth strip 32mm x 6 mm (main earthing lead) by means of galvanized bolts, nuts and washers all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (2009) connected to earth test point & to main switch board with & including adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt alround earth plate & 40 mm dia GI pipe medium grade for earth lead protection pipe for suitable length and GI pipe 20 mm dia medium grade for watering pipe with funnel & wire mesh including necessary earth work and PCC (1: 3 : 6) type C-1 for earth pit , internal surface of concrete shall be given 10mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 and 40 mm thick precast RCC cover 1 : 2 : 4 ,type B-1( using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregare ) reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 75 mm c/c both ways with 12mm dia round bar as in handle including taking down of existing earthing complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Note: (i) Test result of earthing to be submitted by the contractor for all earthing . (ii) Earth filling shall be done by vegetable soil. (iii) Soil should be free from stone, boulders,aggragates,gravel etc. (iv) The rate quoted by the bidders shall be also be deemed to include :-(a) Excavation upto 5 mtr depth and returning filling in any type of soil and disposal of surplus soil. (b) Supply of charcoal and common salt.
