The required prior work experience for the bidder varies based on the category of work. The details are as follows: - For Road work: - 33% of advertised cost for the work valuing up to 40.00Cr - 40% of advertised cost for the work valuing more than 40.00Cr - For Bridge work: - 33% of Advertised Cost - For Road & Bridge work: - Should have either executed under separate contracts both Road & Bridge work up to the aggregate value of 33% of the total advertised cost for works valuing up to 40.00 Cr and 40% for the works with advertised cost beyond 40.00 Cr - OR should have executed both road and bridge work under one single contract at least 33% of the advertised cost of work - For Building work: - 25% of Advertised Cost - For Other works: - 25% of Advertised Cost The bidder should have completed similar works with a minimum value as specified above, with a minimum average annual financial turnover of the specified percentage of the advertised cost for any three out of the last five financial years. The experience of similar nature of work/contract claimed should be supported with the certificate of experience/Performance issued by competent authority of the organization. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved an average financial turnover on execution of Civil Engineering works, with specific values given in table “A” of the proposed contract/contracts applied. The information supplied should be duly certified by a Chartered Accountant and be duly supported by TDS and Income Tax Returns. The turnover shall be indexed at the rate of 8% per year to bring at current price level. The bidder should have also successfully completed or substantially completed during the last five years similar nature of contract(s)/work(s) of the value as reflected below at “B” in any Govt./semi Govt. Organizations/Autonomous Bodies/Municipal Bodies/ Public sector Undertaking listed on BSE/NSE. Any State/Centrally Sponsored Project having been successfully completed in time during the last five years shall be given an enhancement factor @ 5% per year from the date of completion of work during the last five years. Substantially completed works would mean those works of a particular Contract which have been completed in full as on the date of submission of bid (gross value of work done up to the last date of submission of bid is 100% of the original contract price). Certificate to this effect duly issued by the competent authority to be furnished with the bid.
