The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed or substantially completed similar nature of contract(s)/work(s) of a certain value within the last five years. The specific requirements are as follows: - For Road work: - 33% of advertised cost for the work valuing up to 40.00Cr - 40% of advertised cost for the work valuing more than 40.00Cr - For Bridge work: - 33% of Advertised Cost - For Road & Bridge: - Should have either executed under separate contracts both Road & Bridge work up to the aggregate value of 33% of the total advertised cost for works valuing up to 40.00 Cr - 40% for the works with advertised cost beyond 40.00 Cr - For Building: - 40% of Advertised Cost (also mentioned as 30% and 25% in different parts of the text, but 40% is the most prominent) - For Other works: - 40% of Advertised Cost (also mentioned as 25% in a different part of the text, but 40% is the most prominent) The bidder should also have completed or substantially completed similar nature of contract(s)/work(s) during last five years as a Prime Contractor or as a Member of Joint venture or as a Subcontractor. As a subcontractor, he should have gained the experience of execution of all major components/items of works under the proposed contract. Substantially completed works mean those works which have been completed in full as on the date of submission of bid, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 100% of the original contract price.
