Notes for Ducting work :- (a) The Supply Duct should be 1 meter from the Finished floor level by providing bracket support and the spacing between Supply Duct and Return duct should be of minimum 0.5 meter . (b) The cost for Cutting of holes for ducting, making good the surface,cost of Angle fastener, nuts, bolts etc. shall deemed to be included in the quoted rates for the respective item

Design, Supply, Fabrication, and Erection of sliding doors on either sides with heating facility at ORP Blast pens 07 & 08 at Airforce station Leh of details all as shown on drawings No. CEAF/SK-III/2024 and specifications given on drawings including comply the following requirements: (a) The PUF insulated sliding doors shall be fabricated on heavy duty mild steel with one side PUF panel of details as per drawings. The structural steel members of door frame and supporting structure shall be Grade Fe 410 W and yield strength of 250 Mpa. (b) Each door shall be supported at the bottom on three load wheels. The wheels are made of OD 300 with sealed ball bearing (make SKF) and self-lubricating. Each door is guided at top with three set heavy duty steel rollers. All wheels are welded or bolted to the door frame all as per drawing. The preparation for the foundation of the sliding doors shall include appropiate design of the foundation with requisite concrete strength duly approved from any of IIT Kharagpur/ IIT Bombay/ IIT Madras/ IIT Kanpur/ IIT Delhi/ IIT Guwahati/ IIT Roorkee. All the items i.e Structural steel, bolts, base plate, welding connections, wheels, sliding track drainage system etc and erections etc are deemed to be included in the quoted rate for this item. (c ) Foundation of the gate structure shall be designed by the contractor for Safe Bearing Capacity values 13 Tonne/Sqm or the actual Safe Bearing Capacity values found on the ground and accordingly the quoated rate for this item shall deemed to include this aspect also. SBC test as required for design of structure shall be got done by contractor from Govt. approved agency. The Foundation concrete shall be of design mix M-30. The reinforcement steel shall be of grade Fe 550 D

(e) 25 mm thick Expansion joints through the depth of PQC shall be made as per intervals specified by Engineer-in-charge. The joints shall be filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30 mm primed and sealed with sealing compound of Grade ‘B’. (f) Doors: Supply and fixing of Sandwich PUF panel 60 mm thick (42 Kg per cum of density) with 0.5 mm thick Pre-coated (Approved colour) Galvalume sheets of yield strength 240 Mpa on both inner and outer side with zinc coating mass of 120 GSM. (g) Heat Insulation between Sliding Doors: Supply and fixing of 50 mm thick or as per design and 300 mm wide gasket made out of rubber or other synthetic material fixed with suitable Aluminum beading and screwed to sliding door panel between overlap of the door to provide heat insulation from inside to outside the door and Vice –Versa. (h) Supply, Installation, testing & commissioning of motorized door for remote operation of leaves of hanger doors from both ends including control system wire/ cables, motors, gear mechanisms, safety arrangements for motorized operations etc. The arragements may include the following apart from other equipments for efficient opertaion. (i) Three phase electric motors of min capacity 3HP. (ii) The drive transimission between the motors and drive wheel shall be through an efficient gear box of speed 8 to 10 meter/ min for door movement. (iii) The eletric opertaion of each door shall be carried out from control panel mounted at the extreme end of the door opening inside the building. The operation shall have to keep the open and close push button pressed to provide arrangement enable the door automatcially open / close through the control power cut on /off through limit switches (iv) An emergency STOP button (STAY-PUT-TYPE) shall also be provided on the control pannel. (v) In case of power failure the door to be operated manually by disengaging the gearbox. (vi) Each door control panel shall be provided with flashing light that shall start and continue to operate during the time the door is working / closing / opening.

Supply Air Grilles/ Diffusers :- Supply, installation, testing and balancing of powder coated Extruded Aluminium supply air Grilles/Diffusers with volume control dampers in accordance with the approved shop drawings and specifications complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

NOTE :-( i) All Accessories required for smooth opertation of Space heating system shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) The rating of space heater has been estimated on the basis of desired human comfort conditions in the conditioned space,however if the rating is revised upwards subsequently no claim in this reqard shall be admissible therefore the bidder is advised to visit the site before quoting the rate for this item. (iii) Two space heater have been considered for conditioned space of each blast pen out of which one will act as standby. (iv) Seperate air distribution through duct has to be done from each space heater to be installed on the opposite sides of the blast pen. (v) Please note that anything missed out above and required for smooth functioning of the plant to achieve the desired smooth functional condition shall deemed to be included in the quoted rates. No Devation Order on plus side/ claim shall be admissible in this regard at the later stage. (vi) The installation of space heater including ducting shall be done under the supervision of rep of the OEM of air space heater.

Supply, installation,testing and commissioning of diesel fired air space heater of capacity 1,50,000 Kcal/Hr with 04 Nos flue gas passes, at 80 degree celcius outlet air flow not less than of 14000 m3/hr with combustion chamber with outer jacket module duly insulated,smoke tubes,automatic monoblock burner assembly, control panel with sequence controller,thermal overload relays,starter with MCBs, contactor, relay, photocell for flame failure HT transfer electrode,blower assembly, electric control panel with selector switch, indication lamp, alarm hooter, digital temperature controller, centrifugal blower with electric motor driven of suitable capacity with belt and pulley , powder coated casing flanged ductable type inlet and outlet suitable for operation on 50Hz 3 phase 415 volt AC supply comprising of the followings:- (i) Cylindrical diesel tank of capacity as per manufacture instructions complete with inter-connecting piping with valve, fuel filter assembly, MS mounting legs and level indicator. Note: (i) PCC for foundation of space heater shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) To maintain the inside desired temperature at 20°C +/- 2°C (degree Celsius) and relative humidity at 45% +/- 10% when ambient temperature drops to -25°C. (iii) The supply and fixing of central heating system including the duct system shall be undertaken under strict supervision of technician from the approved manufacturer. (iv) Any other technical requirement to improve the efficiency of heating system shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate of this item.

Material & labour for cutting existing road/Hard Rock/ PCC hard Standing/ pavement/ drain for taking out / laying of undergroung GI pipe light grade of size 80mm dia for laying of cable including necessary earth work and making good to match with the existing surface with PCC work in type B2 (1:2:4) (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE- The cost of GI pipe light grade of size 80mm dia and Plain Cement Concrete, if required on the site shall deemed to be included in the quoted rates for this item.

(a) 20 Gauge Thickness

Notes:- (a) All necessary arrangements for movement of doors including gearbox, cables for electric supply to motors, panels and any other arrangement required for smooth functioning of motors and as directed shall deemed to be included in the quoted rates. No claims whatsoever shall be entertained at the belated stage. (b) The lump sum quoted rates shall deemed to be include all arrangement/ requirements for satisfactory opertaions including safety arragements and shall include 3 years maintenance for satisfactory operations. (j) PAINTING: All new steel surfaces including PUF panel shall be painted with two coats of acrylic Emulsion paint of approved make over a coat of steel primer. The work shall be executed at a height upto 10 metre. The quoted rate are inclusive of necessary scaffolding and formwork required to execute the work. Therefore, this aspect shall be considered by the bidders before quoting the rates for this item. No claims whatsoever shall be entertained at the belated stage. The painting of all surfaces shall be done by spray painting only.

Supply & fixing of Chimney for exhaust of effluent flue gases (burnt smoke) of height 4 metre with minimum diameter 150mm , fabricated of B class MS pipe having minimum thickness 4mm, including canopy at the outlet of the chimney, flange to fix the chimney with the space heater complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Notes :- (a) The item shall be complete with the mounting/fixing arrangement all as specified by the space heater manufacturer including the dia of the exhaust flue gas chimney as per the design and specification of space heater installed-01 Nos. (b) The space heater shall be directly connected to the chimney. (c) The mechanical stability of the chimney has to be ensured by providing proper supports

Material and labour for LT distribution panel, made out of 3.15 mm thick MS sheet, powder coated, dust & vermin proof, IP-66 Protection, Outdoor type factory made cubical totally enclosed type with front and rear door opening as per engineering practice provided with locking arrangement for opening of panel with provision of seperate chamber in upper part to enclose Copper busbar of capacity 200 Amps on epoxy insulators in horizontal position and stepped manner with min 20cm distance between busbars & panel body and 06 Nos separate chambers of adequate size embedded in 40mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate), on angle iron of size 40mmx40mmx6mm with footing 30 cm clear space between bottom of panel and flooring including all accessories prewired with insulated copper wires of suitable size. The panel shall compromise of the following fittings and fixture: INCOMING : (i) MCCB Four pole 160 Amps Icu =36 KA at 415 volts with microprocessor release & fixed magnetic setting for short circuit protection - 01 Nos with adjustable over load setting Ir = (0.8 to 1.0) x In,Ics = 100 % Icu and Class II front face with positive break indication with double break contacts -01 Nos

(k) Camouflage Painting : The outer side face of sliding gates of Blat Pen 07 and 08 shall be painted in Camouflage pattern by applying two coats of 100% premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS : 15489 : 2004. The Paint shall be Alkali and Fungal resistance, dust resistance of approved shade with silicon additives @ 1.43 Liter/10Sqm over and including priming coat @ 0.90 Liter/10Sqm all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The work shall be executed at a height upto 10 meter. The quoted rate are inclusive of necessary scaffolding and formwork required to execute the work. Therefore, this aspect shall be considered by the bidders before quoting the rates for this item. No claims whatsoever shall be entertained at the belated stage.

(l) The design parameters for incorporation in the provn of sliding doors and heating facility works are furnished as under:- a. Load shall be as per IS 875 Part I to V latest revision. b. Structural steel design shall confirm to IS 800 latest revision in limit state design method. c. RCC design shall confirm to IS-456 latest revision read in conjunction with IS-1893 and IS 13920 latest revision. d. The work is being executed in Leh. Hence the snow load shall confirm to the IS 875 part-IV and snow load chart along with local practices for snow loads in Leh, whichever produces critical stresses. e. The sliding doors shall have an inbuilt fail-safe mechanism to ensure that they do not fall off the rails due to failure. f. The sliding doors shall also offer airtight space to the existing blast pen for which the door propose to close.

(b) 22 Guage Thickness

Notes :- Quoted rate shall also be deemed to include necessary vetting of drawing of framed structure of sliding doors. Supporting structure including its foundation from renowned institution any of IIT Kharagpur/ IIT Bombay/ IIT Madras/ IIT Kanpur/ IIT Delhi/ IIT Guwahati/ IIT Roorkee institution. The work shall be executed at a height of approx. 10 meter as shown in Architectural drawing. Bidders quoted rates are inclusive of necessary scaffolding and formwork required to execute the work. Therefore, this aspect shall be considered by the bidders before quoting the rates for this item. No claims whatsoever shall be entertained at the belated stage. Gates shall be installed on new structure constructed independent of existing structure so that load of new structure is not transferred to old structure. Any damage done to existing structure shall be got repaired by contractor to the same existing specifications without any extra cost to the Govt. (d) The Foundation of Proposed Sliding doors and supporting structure has to be laid by cutting the existing PQC available at site. The necessary repair / reconstruction of Floor of Blast Pen after casting of Foundation shall be done with pavement quality cement concrete of minimum Flexural Strength of 45 Kg per Sqcm in Field using 400 Kg of cement per Cubic meter (Design mix) laid with Mechanical paver as specified and consolidated in bays to required gradient and camber including necessary steel form work complete all as required and specified/ directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
