The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of similar nature of works with a value of not less than 33% of the advertised cost during the last five years. The bidder should have completed at least one similar nature of work individually costing not less than 33% of the advertised cost during the last 05 years. In terms of percentage, the lead partner in a Joint Venture should meet not less than 50% of the qualification criteria, and the remaining partners should meet not less than 25% of the criteria. The Joint Venture must collectively satisfy the subject of the criteria. The bidder should demonstrate experience and resources sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualifying criteria for the individual contracts. The bidder should have a minimum available bid capacity for construction work equal to or more than the total bid value excluding maintenance. The available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the price level of the last year at the rate of 8 percent a year. The bidder needs to attach a certificate from a Chartered Accountant, with the amount specified in lakhs (Rs), for the total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited.
