Laying of LT, 4C,50sq.mm AYFY cable. The scope shall includes combined clamping of 1R, 3.5C x 50 sq.mm and 2R, 1c x 35 sqmm cables through walls,laying, dressing, fixing on cable trays /racks /risers /walls /columns /cable trenches /pipes, clamping with 40cms spacing, tagging, tying, drilling holes, minor civil work etc. The rates quoted shall be for the actual length of cable laid and not for the supply. All materials required for the work such as 1mm thk aluminium clamp, SS screws, PVC plugs etc. shall be supplied by the contractor.

Supply of Vertical DB (Double door IP52 or above) with accessories as per the following details Type: Surface mounting , Double door 3phase, 8way Protection: IP52 or above Incomer: 125 A,4P,MCCB -1No. Outgoing 32A,3P,MCB -2nos 16A,1P,MCB 10nos 10A,1P, MCB 8nos Busbar: 125A/phase, fully insulated. Erection, termination and commissioning of 3phase 8way DB and associated works: The scope of work includes erection of VDB on existing frame, glanding & termination of 50sq.mm cable to Incomer by using proper cable entry box , disconnecting all out going cables from the existing fuse DB/isolators and reconnecting the same to new VDB, supply and erection of junctionbox/adapter box if required, suitable power connectors, glanding and termination of other end of 50sq.mm cable to existing PCC, gland earthing and DB earthing etc.complete. The materials required for the work including power connectors, cable gland, crimping lugs, bolts, nuts and screws etc. shall be supplied by the contractor.

Dismantling of unnecessary electrics: The scope includes dismantling of existing panels, DBs etc. and disposing the same to FACT CD scrap yard/as directed by the site in-charge. Lifting tools, transportation arrangements shall be arranged by the contractor.

Supply of cable: The scope includes supply 650/1100 V, copper conductor, 3c x 1.5 sqmm (FRLS), Flat /round Steel armoured Cable conforming to IS 1554/Part I of 1988 or IS 7098 Part I, with latest amendments and with Cable length & ISI marking, to be marked on every 5 Meters on the outer Sheath of the Cable.

Supply of street light fittings. The scope of work include supply of LED street light fittings as per following specification. Input voltage:- 140-270V, Lumen 4000lms, Efficacy =110lms/W,CCT-6500K, CRI _80, Mounting- pole (OD50-60mm), Luminaire housing- Aluminium extrusion, Rating--IP66, Life- 1yr onsite warranty, Power factor-0.9, Driver efficienty-85%

Erection of street light fittings.. The scope of work include erection of street light fittings on the wall at 10 independent locations by using 45 degree bended suitable GI /PVC pipe (10kg/cm2), supply and erection of 10nos, 100x100mm FRP/SMC juction box with cover, 10Ams. PVC strip connector for termination, glanding of cables, termination of cables, supply and installation of 10A,DP,MCB with enclosure as control switch for LED street lights, testing, commissioning of the lighting system as directed by the site in charge. Supply of all materials including FRP/SMC boxes,MCB enclosure, MCB, strip connectors, cable glands, clamps, screws, nut, bolt,washers etc are the scope of contractor.

Back pulling of 415V,3.5C,300/400 sq.mm cable: The scope includes back pulling of 415V,3.5C,300/400sq.mm Aluminium armoured power cable from existing cable trench/cable rack in phase 1 plant area, rolling, lifting, transporting to site at Kuzhikkad Check post, unloading etc. Care should be taken against damage while pulling the cable.

Providing new cable trench and laying of 1100V, 185/300/400sq.mm PVC insulated armoured power cables. The scope shall include manual excavation of cable trench including road cross cutting for a depth of 60cm and width of 30cm, laying of cable ( 3.5 x185 sqmm ) and back filling of trenches after cable laying, provide standard concrete mixture and merge with road cutting edges. The cable will be supplied by the FACT LTD free of cost. The scope include shoring, strutting, dewatering if required, consolidating and disposing of surplus earth, all labour, materials, tools etc. complete as per the directions of Engineer in Charge. The scope also include supply and installation of well burnt bricks of 50mm thickness above the cable for protection inside the trenches. Engraved concrete LT Cable markers shall also be supplied and installed above the cable joints. Supply of concreting materials under the scope of contractor. The rates quoted shall be for the length of trench provided and not for the length of cables.

Supply of 415V, 3.5C,185sq.mm straight joint kit: The scope includes supply of 415 V, 3.5C, 185sq.mm heat shrinkable/compound type straight through jointing kits for XLPE/PVC armoured Aluminium power cable.

Providing straight through joint: The scope includes providing straight through joint on 1100V, 3.5 C x185/300/400sqmm, PVC insulated armoured aluminium power cable using heat shrinkable/ compound type straight through jointing kits. Place the joint properly in trenches and consolidate the trench. Acceptable make of jointing kit is Denson/3M/RAYCHEM. All materials including licensed cable jointer required shall be supplied/arranged by the contractor.

Providing end termination of 1100V, 3.5x185sqmm, PVC insulated armoured aluminium power cable. Scope of work includes cable glanding, crimping and termination of cables. Supply of cable glands, crimping lugs, hardwares etc. are under the scope of contractor.

Supply of 3" , B class GI pipe as per IS:1239 PART-1 (1990).

Dismantling and roll back the cable. The scope of work includes disconnection of existing cable (3.5C, 185 sq.mm) and roll back to the cable drum supplied by the FACT. Rolled cable with drum shall be taken to FACT CD Phase 1 Electrical Work shop.Transportation,lifting tackles and crane if required shall be arranged by contractor. All other lifting arrangements including labour shall be arranged by the contractor. The rates quoted shall be for the actual length of cable laid and not for the supply

Supply of 415V, 3.5/4C, up to 70sq.mm heat shrinkable/compound type straight through jointing kits for XLPE/PVC armoured Aluminium power cable.

Providing straight through joint on 1100V, 3.5/4 C x up to 70sqmm, PVC insulated armoured aluminium power cable using heat shrinkable/ compound type straight through jointing kits. Place the joint properly in trenches and consolidate the trench. Acceptable make of jointing kit is Denson/3M/RAYCHEM. All materials including licensed cable jointer required shall be supplied/arranged by the contractor.
