Note :- (i) The DG plant and AMF panel shall be complete with suitable size of multi stranded copper cable. The control relays, control cables are included in the scope of the item. (ii) Tools shall be supplied as per manufacturer's instruction and cost shall be included in the cost of DG set. (iii) Necessary grouting including mild steel work and anti vibration pad shall be provided by the contractor. (iv) First filling lubricants/ Engine oil/ Diesel for 10% overloading for one hour in twelve hours duration by salt water load test or artificial load testing run deemed to be included in the rate quoted for the item.

SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT:

Design and construction of underground raw sewage collection sump RCC construction with RMC design mix concrete of grade M-30, of 2.9m dia and 2.0m liquid depth from the invert level of sewage, along with a coarse bar screen chamber of 1.0 x 0.3 x 0.3m water depth with 0.3m free board fitted with coarse bar screen of 20mm opening made out of 25 x 5 mm thick MS flat and painted with epoxy for a 200 KLD capacity STP. The SBC for design is to be considered as per the soil investigation report shall be followed. Invert level of sewerage is 4.5m from normal ground level and water logging during monsoon 60cm above ground level complete all as specified and as directed.
Note: (i) The tenderer should visit the work site and worked out actual required depth of sewage collection sump depending upon the site conditions.
(ii) The quoted rate is deemed to include the cost of all excavation, earthwork etc complete.
(iii) Invert level and SBC as per soil investigation report shall be followed.

The SBC for design and offer will be as per the soil investigation report enclosed. The cost also includes vetting of the third party and excavation and earth works. The hydraulic design and invert levels of semi ground equalisation tank will as per detailed design to suit the process flow diagram.

Each tank should contain minimum 7.0 m3 MBBR media having surface area of 400 m2/m3 made out of virgin PP appears in translucent white color.

(1) All design, fabrication, inspection and testing of the plant will be done with respect to the latest Indian standards. In case any non-availability of standard, good engineering practice will be adopted. (2) Thickness of M.S sheet to be used for all steel tanks shall be minimum 5mm as per BS 1079 and HRI GRADE with internal FRP 3mm lining and externalepoxy to be painted to prevent sea corrosion. (3) The installation will be fully automated with SCADA based system in pump house. The cost includes all cables from control panel motors, auto valves and pipe lines for inter connections etc. The control valves shall be electric motorised actuators, PLC controlled and activated by level pressure/ ultrasonic sensors as per automation offered by OEM. All pipe for suction and delivery header, main with fittings shall be to a class in excess of the maximum pressure attained in service including any surge pressure. (4) The pump operation shall also be PLC controlled with pressure type input sensors for flow, level and pressure of all pumps. The communication between installed devices and PLC shall be Modbus based.

(5) The wiring of electrical system and communication devices for the SCADA based system will be with appropriate size cables upto electrical control panel is included in the quoted rates. Electrical work shall be carried out as per relevant BIS/ IS/ Equivalent standard norms only and also in accordance with latest edition of the Indian Electricity Act/ Rules formed there under and as amended from time to time. The quoted rate deemed to include the cost of laying/fixing of power/ control cables required for STP/ SCADA system by using necessary unit, SCADA panels and other switchgears and other items. (6) P & I and hydraulic drawing is to be get approved from the accepting officer before proceeding to the fabrication of the plant. (7) The quoted rate is deemed to include the cost of all excavation, earth work etc complete. (8) The quoted rate is inclusive of all chemicals and any other items which are essential but not mentioned here-in-before for satisfactory working of the STP.

(9) The quoted rate is inclusive of earthing by using GI earth plate 600x600x6mm and earth strip 32x6mm as per plate No 3 of SSR Part-I including necessary earth wire/strip connection to motor, machineries and SCADA system installed for STP and treated water all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (10) The SBC for design is to be considered as per the soil investigation report enclosed. (11) The entire STP scheme to be vetted by any IIT/NIT/IISc/CRI including structural design before execution of work. The cost of this also inclusive in the rate quoted. (12) The cost shall deemed to include the design and submission of drawing of RCC manholes of suitable size and approximate depth of 6m to 8m from existing ground level for diversion of existing sewage line. The design shall got approved by AO before commencement of work. (13) The dimensions/capacity of the eqpt/components mentioned are of minimum reqt. Any increase in size/modifications found essential to achieve the parameters shall be carried out as per the OEM. However, no extra payment on this account will be permissible.

(14) The following items required for at site shall be measured and paid separately under relevant schedule of item:
(a) LT cable upto STP control panel (b) Treated water pump & treated water distribution line. (15) Rate deemed to include to obtaining NOC for “CONSENT TO ESTABLISH AND CONSENT TO OPERATE” from state pollution control authority”. (16) Cost of all inter connected pipes and fittings including excavation and other connected works of STP shall be deemed to include in the quoted rates and nothing extra will be paid. (17) The quoted rate is deemed to include the cost of all SCADA system for STP and treated water pumps. (18) Invert level and SBC as per soil investigation report shall be followed.

Notes for item No.71 to 72:
(i) The contractor shall employ one operator for each plant per shift. The operator shall be qualified & experienced in field and experience not less than 2 yrs in the same field. (ii) Cost of periodical maintanance of various equipment/ parts shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates of respective items. (iii) Samples of effluent shall be collected from the outlet twice in a month as directed and got tested in a lab approved by State Pollution Control Board. (iv) The contractor shall strictly follow the operation and maintenance manual of the plant as well as dosage of chemical prescribed by testing agency.

(v) Periodical cleaning and removal of sludge from screen well, collection well, contact aeration tank, sludge aeration tank, settling tank, sludge drying beds, bar screen, screen through etc. (vi) Mixing chemical to maintain desired quality of end product of system. (vii) To maintain all working place and area neat and clean. (viii) The Log sheet must be maintain by the contractor as directed by the Engr-in-charge. (ix) Diesel for running DG Set will be arranged by department and log sheets for running the DG Set shall be maintained by contractor and submitted monthly. The container for storage of Diesel and transportation from MES store yard to site shall be the responsibility of contractor and cost for the same shall deemed to be included in the item rates.

(a) The maintenance of the plant during the defect liability period is deemed to be included in the quoted rate of STP. (b) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be included all other liability like EPF/ ESIC/ Bonus/ LWC/ GST etc. (c) The rate shall be deemed to be included for GST as applicable and no extra shall be admissible on this account. (d) The rate quoted for items of outsoursing shall not be less than minimum wages as notified by Goverment of India/ concerned State Goverment/ Local Body, whichever is higher and also not less than applicable rates for contribution of employer towards EPF, contribution to ESIC, contribution of Bonus and LWC under respective headings/sub-items. In case the rates quoted are less than the prevailing rates/instructions under any heading(s), the bid will be treated as non-bonafied/invalid, shall be disqualified and such bids will not be considered for acceptance. In such case, the lowest bidder shall be determined from amongst the valid/bonafide bids only.
