The bidder should have experience of works of similar nature in the last seven years. The required prior work experience includes having successfully completed at least one similar work costing more than 80% of the Probable Amount of Contract (PAC) of the work during the last seven years as Prime Contractor. Alternatively, the bidder can also qualify with two similar works each costing more than 60% of the PAC of the work during the last seven years as Prime Contractor, or three similar works each costing more than 40% of the PAC of the work during the last seven years as Prime Contractor. The similar work is defined as Construction of Multistoried building/ structures including its related electrical, plumbing, firefighting works and allied other service requirements. For completed projects, the bidder should provide information including employer name, location, and type of contract, name of engineer responsible for supervision, contract price and date, percentage of participation of company in project, and whether the contract was satisfactorily completed, including time provision. For ongoing projects, the bidder should provide information including employer name, location, and type of contract, name of engineer responsible for supervision, contract price and date, percentage of participation of company in project, value of work completed and certified, percentage of partial completion, and scheduled date of completion. The bidder should also submit details of their ongoing works, including the name of work, name of client/engineer, contract/agreement number and date, contract amount, start date of work, amount of work completed at the time of bid submission, and probable date of completion. The bidder should have adequate working capital of more than 10% of the probable estimated cost of work for which he is bidding. The full value of completed work will be considered whether or not the date of commencement is within the said 07-year period. The experience certificate from the engineer/client for whom the bidder has done the work should show details such as agreed PAC, completed value of work, start and end date, and whether the work has been completed satisfactorily.
