The required prior work experience for the bidder varies depending on the type of project. For works estimated to cost between Rs. 5 crores and Rs. 20 crores, the bidder should have a Works Manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience, a Site Engineer for supervision with a minimum of 1 year of experience, a Site Engineer for Quality Control with a minimum of 1 year of experience, and other personnel with similar experience. For works estimated to cost above Rs. 20 crores, the bidder should have a Works Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience, Site Engineers for supervision and Quality Control with a minimum of 3 years of experience, and other personnel with similar experience. The bidder should have experience in works similar to the work tendered, but the exact value or percentage of similar works completed is not specified in some cases. However, specific requirements are mentioned for certain types of projects: 1. Construction of Water Treatment Plant upto 5 MLD output capacity: Must have constructed a Water Treatment plant in the past with any technology for a minimum of 1 MLD output capacity. 2. Construction of Water Treatment Plant above 5 MLD output capacity: Must have constructed a Water Treatment Plant in the past with any technology for a minimum of 40% output capacity, subject to a maximum of 40MLD. 3. Construction of water treatment Plant with modern technology: The bidder must have constructed a Water Treatment Plant in the past with any technology for a minimum of 40% output capacity, subject to a maximum of 40MLD. Additionally, they must have constructed a Water Treatment Plant in the past with similar technology for a minimum of 10% output capacity of the proposed treatment plant. 4. Rehabilitation work of Water Treatment Plant: The bidder must have constructed/rehabilitated Water Treatment Plant in the past with similar Technology for a minimum of 25% output capacity. 5. O&M work of Water Treatment Plant: The bidder must have constructed/rehabilitated/Operated & maintained Water Treatment Plant in the past with similar Technology for a minimum of 25% output capacity. 6. Construction of Sewage Treatment Plant upto 5 MLD capacity: The bidder must have constructed a Sewage Treatment Plant in the past with any technology for a minimum of 0.5 MLD capacity. 7. Construction of Sewage Treatment Plant of capacity above 5 MLD: The bidder must have constructed a Sewage Treatment Plant in the past with any technology for a minimum of 10% capacity. 8. Supplying and laying of Water Supply pipes above 400mm and up to and including 800mm diameter pipes: The bidder must have supplied and laid a total of 1000m of 300mm or higher sized pipes of any material in the past in a single work, or 500m for works with a total length of pipe line to be laid less than or equal to 1000m. The bidder's solvency should be a minimum of ₹ 123.98 Lakh. The percentages mentioned are 1%, 40%, 10%, 25%, and 0.5% of the output capacity or pipe length. For projects costing less than 10% of the Tendered PAC, no experience is required.
