The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed a single work worth minimum 40% of the tendered PAC for his Sole/Joint Venture/Partner of the joint venture within the last five years, with annual escalation @ 5% (simple interest) allowed for the cost of works completed in the previous years. For construction of Water Treatment Plant up to 5 MLD output capacity, the bidder must have constructed a water treatment plant in the past with any technology for a minimum of 1 MLD output capacity. The value of similar works completed should be at least 40% of the tendered PAC. The bidder should have experience of constructing a water treatment plant with a minimum of 1 MLD output capacity and should provide details of works completed as well as works in hand, including the percentage of completion. Specifically, the bidder should have experience in works costing Rs. 150 lakhs and up to Rs. 300 lakhs. The minimum average annual turnover of the tenderer should be greater than 20% of the estimated cost of the work, subject to a maximum requirement of Rs. 500 lakhs. For example, if the estimated cost of the work is Rs. 600,00,000, the minimum average annual turnover should be Rs. 1,20,00,000 (20% of Rs. 600,00,000). However, the minimum average annual turnover is also mentioned as Rs. 110.38 lakhs. The bidder needs to provide information about the name of the project and location, agency/authority for whom the work was done, nature of contract, contract amount, period of completion, actual date of completion, value of completed work, and payment received. The solvency certificate should be for a minimum amount of 20% of the estimated PAC, subject to a maximum value of Rs. 5.0 Crores, unless the tenderer is a public Limited Company. For this particular work, the solvency shall be Rs.110.38 Lakhs. The bidder should provide details of works done previously and work in hand, as per the information furnished in the specified formats. The amount for advance payment is mentioned as 75 per cent of the amount for the items at the rate worked out and certified by the Sub Division Office.
