ERECTION AND COMMISSIONING OF IRON REMOVAL PLANT

Design, supply, installation based on the site condition and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and commissioning of 1 unit of Iron Removal Plant for Palakuzhy in Kizhakkenchery Pt. with suitable technology option, using Mild Steel Pressure Vessel with epoxy coating inside, with shell thickness not less than 6 mm, diameter not less than 800 mm and HOS not less than 1800 mm, capable of discharging water at 7.5 m3/Hr, with best quality suitable size Butterfly Valves for easy back washing, rinsing and filtering, with best quality Iron Removal media - Purolite MZ-10 plus/INDION ISR/Pyrolox, with a minimum bed depth of 700 mm, with sufficient filtering capacity and capable of removing iron content of 1.98 mg/l to the permissible limit, as per the drinking water quality standards, including all mechanical and plumbing works for connecting to the existing pumping main with suitable size of PVC class 5 pipes and specials, required to deliver water to the existing reservoir using the existing pump. The plant may be suitably positioned anywhere along the pumping main route. The total head loss due to the IRP supplied is not be more than 4.00 meters (One number approved Iron field test kit with sufficient chemicals, capable for testing minimum 100 Nos. of water samples, is also to be supplied), including all labour charges, hire charges, cost of materials, etc. complete.
