The required prior work experience for the bidder varies depending on the type of work. For construction of civil structures, the bidder must have experience of having successfully completed a single work worth minimum 40% cost of major civil component included in the particular tender for his Sole / Joint Venture / Partner of the Joint Venture within the last ten years. Annual escalation at 5% will be allowed for the cost of works completed in the previous years. For construction of Water Treatment Plant up to 5 MLD output capacity, the bidder must have constructed a Water Treatment plant in the past with any technology for a minimum of 1 MLD output capacity. For construction of Water Treatment Plant above 5 MLD output capacity, the bidder must have constructed a Water Treatment Plant in the past with any technology for a minimum of 40% output capacity, subject to a maximum of 40MLD. For construction of Water Treatment Plant with modern technology, the bidder must have constructed a Water Treatment Plant in the past with similar technology for a minimum of 40% output capacity, subject to a maximum of 40MLD, and also for a minimum of 10% output capacity of the proposed treatment plant. For rehabilitation work of Water Treatment Plant, the bidder must have constructed/rehabilitated Water Treatment Plant in the past with similar technology for a minimum of 25% output capacity. For O&M work of Water Treatment Plant, the bidder must have constructed/rehabilitated/Operated & maintained Water Treatment Plant in the past with similar technology for a minimum of 25% output capacity. For construction of Sewage Treatment Plant up to 5 MLD capacity, the bidder must have constructed a Sewage Treatment Plant in the past with any technology for a minimum of 0.5 MLD capacity. For construction of Sewage Treatment Plant of capacity above 5 MLD, the bidder must have constructed a Sewage Treatment Plant in the past with any technology for a minimum of 10% capacity. For supplying and laying of Water Supply pipes above 400mm and up to and including 800mm diameter pipes, the bidder must have supplied and laid a total of 1000m of 300mm or higher sized pipes of any material in the past in a single work, or 500m for works with total length of laying less than or equal to 1000m. For supplying and laying of Water Supply pipes above 800mm diameter, the bidder must have supplied and laid a total of 1000m of 500mm or higher sized pipes of any material in the past in a single work, or 500m for works with total length of laying less than or equal to 1000m. The values and percentages mentioned include: - 40% cost of major civil component - 1 MLD output capacity - 5 MLD output capacity - 40% output capacity - 40MLD maximum output capacity - 10% output capacity of the proposed treatment plant - 25% output capacity - 0.5 MLD capacity - 10% capacity - 1000m of 300mm or higher sized pipes - 500m of 300mm or higher sized pipes - 1000m of 500mm or higher sized pipes - 500m of 500mm or higher sized pipes - 5% annual escalation No experience is insisted for any components of the work costing less than 10% of the TPAC. In the case of a joint venture, the lead partner should meet at least 40% of the qualification criteria in terms of annual turnover and net worth, and any other partner should meet at least 25% of the qualification criteria. For works estimated to cost from Rs. 5 crores to Rs. 20 crores, and above Rs. 20 crores, specific key personnel requirements are mentioned, including Works Manager, Site Engineer, and Supervisor (Mechanical) with varying years of experience. A minimum solvency of Rupees 500.00 Lakhs is required, and the solvency certificate should be issued within a maximum period of six months before the date of tender from a scheduled bank/Tahsildar for a minimum amount of 20% of estimated PAC, subject to a maximum value of Rs.5.00 Crores.
