The required prior work experience for the bidder varies depending on the type of work and estimated cost. For construction of Sewage Treatment Plant, experience certificate issued by agreement executing authority of registered private firms will also be considered. The bidder should have experience in the design of the project components, planning of the project, implementation, execution of the project. For works with an estimated cost from Rs. 5 crores to Rs. 20 crores, the required experience includes specific technical personnel with certain qualifications and experience. For works with an estimated cost above Rs. 20 crores, the required experience includes more technical personnel with higher qualifications and experience. The bidder must submit a statement showing the value of works taken up, completion time of works during the past ten years. The bidder should have completed works with a minimum average annual turnover of Rs. 131 lakhs, and the average annual turnover should be greater than 20% of the estimated cost of the work, subject to a maximum requirement of Rs. 500 lakhs. The bidder's net worth should be more than 15% of the annual turnover and not less than 10% of the average annual estimated cost of the contract. The bidder should also have a minimum net worth of Rs. 66 lakhs. Specific requirements for prior work experience include: - Construction of Water Treatment Plant upto 5 MLD output capacity: minimum of 1 MLD output capacity - Construction of Water Treatment Plant above 5 MLD output capacity: minimum of 40% output capacity, subject to a maximum of 40MLD - Construction of water treatment Plant with modern technology: minimum of 40% output capacity, subject to a maximum of 40MLD, and also with similar Technology for minimum of 10% output capacity - Rehabilitation work of Water Treatment Plant: minimum of 25% output capacity - O&M work of Water Treatment Plant: minimum of 25% output capacity - Construction of Sewage Treatment Plant upto 5 MLD capacity: minimum of 0.5 MLD capacity - Construction of Sewage Treatment Plant of capacity above 5 MLD: minimum of 10% capacity - Supplying and laying of Water Supply pipes above 400mm and up to and including 800mm diameter pipes: total of 1000m of 300mm or higher sized pipes of any material in the past in a single work, or 500m for works with total length of pipe line to be laid less than or equal to 1000m No specific value or percentage of similar works completed is mentioned, but the bidder should furnish separate sheets with details of individual works, including the contract value and percentage of completion. Annual escalation at 5% is allowed for the cost of works completed in the previous years.
