The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Minimum five years experience in Road Works for a Degree Holder in Civil Engineering. - Minimum three years experience in Road Works for a Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering. - Minimum five years experience in Road Works for a Degree Holder in Civil Engineering for routine maintenance. - Minimum one years experience in Road Works for a Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering for routine maintenance. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (or one-fourth in case of Naxal/LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of the work, excluding maintenance cost for five years. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this Sub-Clause. The bidder needs to provide details of work executed, including the gross amount of the work completed, and information on the quality of work, including grading and amount of work paid on reduced rate basis, if any. The available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the price level of the last year at the rate of 8 percent a year. The total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited is also required, with values to be provided for each year from 2017 to 2021 in Rs. In lakhs. The percentage of Variation of items of work for which there shall be no increase in rates shall be exceeding 25% over agreed quantity for individual items. The bidder's prior work experience is considered based on the value of road work completed. Milestones to be achieved during the contract period include: - 1/8th of the value of entire contract work up to 1/4th of the period allowed for completion of construction - 3/8th of the value of entire contract work up to ½ of the period allowed for completion of construction - 3/4th of the value of entire contract work up to ¾th of the period allowed for completion of construction The percentage to apply to the value of the work not completed representing the Employer’s additional cost for completing the Works shall be 200% of uncompleted Work.
