Material and labour Cleaning of valve pit chamber for sluice/gate valve of 50/80/100/150/200/ size by removing mud/ grass/ sludge/ other waste materials from the chamber and from surroundings upto 1mtr distance, carryout petty cement repairs with cement mortar 1:4, apply one coat of white wash on cemented surfaces and one coat of synthetic paint on steel surfaces complete to make an operator friendly valve chamber complete as specified and directed. Note :- Periodicity and locations of valve chambers will be given as per requirement by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Clearing the bushes trunk girth not exceeding 10 .00 cm and area around valve chambers upto 1.0 mtrs and depositing at a distance nexceeding 50 mtrs from starting point etc complete all as specified and directed

Making arrangement to flush out the existing pipe line of any type 15 mm to 32 mm bore and upto 100m length, applying 4.5 N/sqmm pressure kg/sq cm pressure to remove scalings/ sludges/ other blocking materials to make smooth flow of water including testing all as specified and directed.

Making arrangement to flush out the existing pipe line of any type 40 mmto 50 mm bore and upto 100m length, applying 4.5 N/sqmm pressure kg/sq cm pressure to remove scalings/ sludges/ other blocking materials to make smooth flow of water including testing all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 47 & 48 :- (i) The Contractor is deemed to arrange necessary tools and equipments, removing or alteration of fittings from existing pipe lines, arragement of plugging devices, etc to build up specified pressure required to wash out the pipes. This will be inclusive in quoted rate. (ii) Excavation and earth work required will be measured and paid seperately. (iii) The flushing out will be carried out with fresh filled water of well only duly chlorinated with specified sodium hypochlorite solution to disinfect the pipe lines from all pathogens and Coliform organisms.This will be inclusive in quoted rate. (iv) If the delay is more then 06 hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 200/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.

Cleaning of service tanks of the capacity as here-in-below on roof top of bldgs upto three storrey after disconnection from inlet and outlet pipe, removing of float valve of service tank and keep aside safely for reuse drain out water through drain plug, cleaning thoroughly to remove all scales and dirt by brushing internal surface, cleaning properly inside with soda wash, flushing out with fresh water, re-positioning of tank at same place, re-connecting inlet and outlet pipes, closing of drain plug, re-installation of float valve duly cleaned, writing/ labelling the record of cleaning carried out with white bold letter such as "TANK CLEANED ON"--------- (month and year), including removing creepers, vegitation and roots of plants, trees branches on or surrounding of service tank complete all as directed. Note:-(i) Unit rate quoted is deemed to be included for testing of water supply in tank both inlet and outlet flow during next supply hours early in the morning or late in evening. (ii) Contractor shall maintain a pucca bound register for cleaning carried out with date and obtain users signature and remarks if any and this register to be submitted alongwith RAR. (iii) Contractor is liable to rectify any damages to the external finishes of the bldg occured during the cleaning process, i.e. scrubbing and touch up with external paints as existing specifications. Unit rate quoted is deemed too be included the cost of the same. (iv) All sort of petty T&P items such as ladder, safety equipment, nuts, bolts, washers etc. required to accomplish the job shall be provided by the contractor with out any extra cost to dept.

(a) For RCC /PVC tank exceeding 200 litters and not exceeding 500 ltrs

(b) For RCC /PVC tank exceeding 501 litters and not exceeding 1000 ltrs

(c) For RCC /PVC tank exceeding 1001 litters and not exceeding 2000 ltrs

(d) For RCC /PVC tank exceeding 2001 litters and not exceeding 5000 ltrs

(e) For RCC /PVC tank exceeding 5001 litters and not exceeding 25000 ltrs

Supply and fix PVC water tank 2000 Ltrs Capacity Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part I, incl disconnecting and taking down existing tank of any description and capacity etc complete as specified and directed. .

S & F in replacement Bib taps, cast copper alloy chronium plated with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed down, screwed for iron pipe fixed of size 15 mm for brass ferrule fancy type and fixed complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Spreading ribbed soil in trenches as in cable cushioning all as per IS 1255-1983, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Excavated approved soil shall be ribbed by using sieve to separate composite particles etc. as per IS and refilling in trenches before laying of cable 8 CM and 15 CM after laying of cable. This is then gently punned down to a depth of 10 cm above the top of upper most cable (ii) For the purpose of measurement only punned thickness shall be considered for payment.

M & L for Bricks covering with width equal to length of brick as mechanical protection to cable with well burnt sub class ‘B’ bricks laid dry flat complete as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Cutting existing road/PCC/Drain for laying of GI or any type of pipe including necessary earth work, excavation exc 600mm depth but not exc 1mtr depth, 800 mm wide including making good existing surface with 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The tenderer shall take into consideration for following points while quoting rate for this item and the unit rate is deemed to be inclusive for :- (i) Earth work and excavation in any type of soil (ii) Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed. (iii) Removing excavated material to out side MD. (iv) Laying of any type/any bore of pipe in trenches including taking down. Supply of pipe shall be measured and paid separately (v) 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in road to make good existing disturbed surfaces.

Supply and fix in reapir for GI pipe light grade 40 mm dia for cable protection on road crossings /plinth protection with fixed to the pole wall etc along with suitable fittings for cable protection .

Material and labour in repair for 3 ½ core 70 Sqmm XLPE insulated heavy duty electric cable with aluminium multi stranded conductor 1100 volts grade served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall sheathed laying in trenches/cable ducts, fixed to wall/pole, complete all as specified and directed. Make : Havells, Polycab, RPG Asian. Note: Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid seperately

Material and labour in repair for 3 ½ core 50 Sqmm XLPE insulated heavy duty electric cable with aluminium multi stranded conductor 1100 volts grade served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall sheathed laying in trenches/cable ducts, fixed to wall/pole, complete all as specified and directed. Material and labour in repair for making straight through joint with suitable jointing kit consisting of water proof adhesives for UG cable of size 3.50 core 50 Sqmm to 70 Sqmm, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour in repair for 3 ½ core 35 Sqmm XLPE insulated heavy duty electric cable with aluminium multi stranded conductor 1100 volts grade served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall sheathed laying in trenches/cable ducts, fixed to wall/pole, complete all as specified and directed. Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sounding technique and necessary machine including providing HDPE pipe of 50 mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure complete as specified and directed.

Supply and fix 4 Pole MCCB ,415 volts,fixed type ,400 Amp, 50 Hz, with rupturing capacity 36 KA with thermal & magnetic setting with extended terminals,replacemenr to LT panel/ Feeder piller box including connecting lugs with busbar and including mounting arrengments i.e screws,bolt, nut, washers incl taking out old unsv MCCB etc complete all as specified and directed. Make: Indoasian/L&T/ Legrand

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of factory assembled, floor mounted, free standing type tested LT Feeder pillar panels, with canopy, as per electrical specifications for outdoor installation to be made of IP65 Polycarbonate modular enclosures. The enclosures made of polycarbonate, should be weather/vermin proof, anti -acid, anti-corrossive, UV resistance in accordance with IEC 61439-1, fire retardant and self extingushing in accordance with IEC 60695-2-11, UL subject 94 for flammability V-0, should pass glow wire test for 960 degree in accoardance with 60695-2-11.Degree of protection against mechanical load should be IK08 (5 Joule) in accordance with IEC 62262,IP65 in accordance with IEC-60529 and IEC- 60439-1, should have dielectric properties, RoHS compliants & Halogen free. The manufacturer of boards/panels shall submit a copy of type test reports as per above mentioned norms either from UL/ERDA/CPRI/NABL labs in india.The panel should be modular and compartmentalized in construction with opaque and transparent doors, properly tightened to base with thromoplastic screws having sealing gaskets of extruded silicon rubber to withstand adverse weather effects. The depth of modular enclosure should be above 200mm for air circulation & to minimize temp rise. Panel should be fitted with one No. polycarbonate IP 65, 9 W LED translucent bulk head luminaire color lamp not less than 6500K, PF 0.95 under canopy for easy maintenance. Panel should be fitted outside with one No of 16 Amp 3 Pole IP65 industrial socket and 01 No. of 32 Amp 5P IP 65 industrial socket. 3 Phase and neutral 250 Amp current carrying capacity of aluminium bus bar insulated with colour coded heat shrinkable sleeves with SMC/DMC insulators,complete with the following swtich gears and mounting the panel board on ground with PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for bedding upto a height of 45 CM above ground level, including dismanting and taking out unserviceable old LT panel board and reconnecting existing LT UG Cable with new panel board, complete all as specified and directed :-

(a) MCCB with thermal magnetic release 4 Pole, 415 V of capacity 125 Amp, 36 KA - 01 No (Incomer). (b) On Load Change over front operated of capacity 160 Amp, 4 Pole, 415 V - 01 No. (c) MCCB with thermal magnetic release 4 Pole, 415 V of capacity 63 Amp, 10 KA - 02 Nos. (d) MCB SPN of 240 V of capacity 40 Amps 10 KA -02Nos. (e) Multifunction Meter (V,I,PF) with suitable capacity of CT's - 01 No. (f) Indicating lamp (R-Y-B) set LED type with backup MCB for 3 Phase Supply - 01 set. (g) Space for spare feeder - 01 No. Note :- (i) The Contractor shall submit the drawing for approval of GE before executing the work. (ii) Insulators, bus bar sleeves, lugs, gland etc including complete wiring with suitable size of copper wire are all inclusive in unit quoted rate. (iii) Make of Switch gear : Schneider/L&T/C&S. (iv) MCCB should be ICu =100% ICs. (v) Make of LT Panel/FPB shall be as per mentioned in list of makes (PS).

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemical earthing system comprising of 17mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducing liquid. The earthing energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be tested as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTM G57-06, CI 3.4 A by any NABL accredited lab. The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 4-6 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installation including taking down existing one, complete all as specified and directed.. Make : Model HTSP 317 of safeTrode or equivalent in OBO Betterman/ FURSE/ERICO.

The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 04 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor before commencement of work.

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH value should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm shall be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end ( copper strip upto 7.5 RM shall be considered in unit quoted rate and extra will be measured and paid separately).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concerned.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is maintained.

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing for each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor from final bill for the guarantee period.

(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvii) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

(xviii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bounded rod to ensure genuineness of material.

(xix) Sign board of mild steel sheet 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing shall be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.

Material and labour for Earth pit cover made of heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested and certified by any NABL accredited lab for load bearing capacity not less than 7.2 tonnes with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330 mm and height not less than 260 mm for each electrode pit complete including taking down old one complete all as specified and directed. Make : Model SEPC 250 of SAFE TRODE/ Electrogrip Model/ EGTEK3LC of ISG Global or equivalent in OBO Betterman/ ERICO.

S&F in repair copper strip 20 x 3mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc including taking down existing one, complete all as specified and directed. Note : - All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of factory assembled, floor mounted, free standing type tested LT Feeder pillar panels, with canopy, as per electrical specifications for outdoor installation to be made of IP65 Polycarbonate modular enclosures. The enclosures made of polycarbonate, should be weather/vermin proof, anti -acid, anti-corrossive, UV resistance in accordance with IEC 61439-1, fire retardant and self extingushing in accordance with IEC 60695-2-11, UL subject 94 for flammability V-0, should pass glow wire test for 960 degree in accoardance with 60695-2-11.Degree of protection against mechanical load should be IK08 (5 Joule) in accordance with IEC 62262,IP65 in accordance with IEC-60529 and IEC- 60439-1, should have dielectric properties, RoHS compliants & Halogen free. The manufacturer of boards/panels shall submit a copy of type test reports as per above mentioned norms either from UL/ERDA/CPRI/NABL labs in india.The panel should be modular and compartmentalized in construction with opaque and transparent doors, properly tightened to base with thromoplastic screws having sealing gaskets of extruded silicon rubber to withstand adverse weather effects. The depth of modular enclosure should be above 200mm for air circulation & to minimize temp rise. Panel should be fitted with one No. polycarbonate IP 65, 9 W LED translucent bulk head luminaire color lamp not less than 6500K, PF 0.95 under canopy for easy maintenance. Panel should be fitted outside with one No of 16 Amp 3 Pole IP65 industrial socket and 01 No. of 32 Amp 5P IP 65 industrial socket. 3 Phase and neutral 600 Amp current carrying capacity of aluminium bus bar insulated with colour coded heat shrinkable sleeves with SMC/DMC insulators,complete with the following swtich gears and mounting the panel board on ground with PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for bedding upto a height of 45 CM above ground level, including dismanting and taking out unserviceable old LT panel board and reconnecting existing LT UG Cable with new panel board, complete all as specified and directed :-

(a) MCCB with thermal magnetic release 4 Pole, 415 V of capacity 400 Amp, 36 KA - 02 Nos (Incomer). (b) On Load Change over front operated of capacity 400 Amp, 4 Pole, 415 V - 01 No. (c) MCCB with thermal magnetic release 4 Pole, 415 V of capacity 400 Amp, 36 KA - 01 No. (d) Multifunction Meter (V,I,PF) with suitable capacity of CT's - 01 No. (e) Indicating lamp (R-Y-B) set LED type with backup MCB for 3 Phase Supply - 01 set. (f) Space for spare feeder - 01 No. Note :- (i) The Contractor shall submit the drawing for approval of GE before executing the work. (ii) Insulators, bus bar sleeves, lugs, gland etc including complete wiring with suitable size of copper wire are all inclusive in unit quoted rate. (iii) Make of Switch gear : Schneider/L&T/C&S. (iv) MCCB should be ICu =100% ICs. (v) Make of LT Panel/FPB shall be as per mentioned in list of makes (PS).

Note :- An amount of Rs 77,010.00 on account of credit schedule for schedule 'A' part II shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
