(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor along with sample approval.

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH value should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm (99.99% molecularly copper) should be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end (copper strip upto 7.5 RM will be considered in unit quoted rate and extra will be measured and paid separately).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concerned.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is maintained.

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for each chemical earthing each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor from final bill for the guarantee period.

(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvii) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

(xviii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bonded rod to ensure genuity of material along with sample approval.

(xix) Sign board of mild steel 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing should be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed .

Material and labour for Earth pit cover made of heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested and certified by any NABL accredited lab for load bearing capacity not less than 7.2 tonnes with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330 mm and height not less than 260 mm for each electrode pit complete including taking down all as specified and directed. Make : Model SEPC 250 of SAFE TRODE/ Electrogrip Model/ EGTEK3LC of ISG Global or equivalent. Note :- The contractor shall submit load bearing capacity certificate from the manufacturer.

S&F Copper strip 20 x 3mm thick (99.99% molecularly copper) as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc including taking down existing one all as spcified and directed. NOTE : All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

Material and labour as in repair for Earth pit indicator for existing earthing pit made out of 16 mm dia and 60 cm long MS Squre Bar embeded in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone agreegate in PCC block of size 30 X30 X30 cm including CI/MS plate of size 250X300X 3 mm thick fixed on side of earth pit cover complete painting and writing over the plate ie. Type , Result, Date of measurement and pit number with Black background with white and complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair for GI earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required for 25 mm x 4 mm thick, Galvanised using porcelain clit/post insulators, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair for aluminium earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall / roof top of for lightning arrester / fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required for 25 mm x 3 mm thick, aluminium using porcelain clit/post insulators with screw / self dril GI screw with rubber washer , complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze, size 75mm x 75mm x 25 mm thick, drilled and screwed including 3 Nos. 8 mm dia. 25 mm long hexagonal head screws, including taking down old unserviseable one, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair Air termination, single pointed, copper rod 12 mm dia and 300mm long (99.99% molecularly copper) fixed to GI Strip / aluminium strip including nuts,bolts & washers for earth conductivity to ground complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L in repair for Single core Multi standard copper wire of 50 Sqmm including necessary PVC pipe of suitable size fitting, screw, bolt & nut etc all as specified and directed Make Havells/Polycab/ Plaza

Supply and fixing in repair Air termination, single pointed, aluminium rod 12 mm dia and 300mm long fixed to GI Strip / aluminium strip including nuts,bolts & washers for earth conductivity to ground complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying in repair copper bonded round conductor rod of 10mm for connecting the earthing pits together using exothermic welding joint complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix split type flame proof air conditioner 1.5 TR suitable for "Ex-d IIC" IP 66 230V AC, 50 Hz single phase, hermetically sealed compressor with flameproof terminal box, R-407 CFC free refrigerent gas, flame proof induction motor of S1 Duty and " Ex-d IIC" Zone-IP-66 for indoor cooling unit, material of indoor and outdoor unit is SS 304, copper tubes with aluminium fins, Flame proof control panel, provn of Earthing terminal inside and outside, necessary steel frame structure for indoor and outdoor will be provided as per OEM, Noise as per OEM, warranty period 12 months after installation. Note :- All the accessories i.e copper tube indoor to outdoor, connecting lead as per OEM and initial refrigerent gas required for connection of split AC unit and making suitable hole in wall for passing the pipe and making good as per exisitng surface and other parts required to install and working of the AC deemed to be included in this item rate all as specified and duly approved by CIMFR Dhanbad , PESO(Nagpur) and BIS as manufacturers intructions and complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Three runs of 4.0 sqmm copper conductor cable, and one run of ERW rigid metallic conduit shall be included in quoted rates. M&L for Earthing connected with Bldg main Lightining arrestor etc. with galvanised iron earth plate of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground not less than 2.5 mtr below grond level, earth plate placed on all side with charcoal mixed with salt to a thickness of 150 mm connected by GI earth strip of size 32 x 6 mm thick soldered and revetted to earth plate attesters. GI earth strip shall be protected by using 50mm bore GI pipe (light grade) earth plate including flat iron clamp 25 x 3 mm including bolts, nuts & washers complete. The earthing includes necessary excavation, PCC pit, CI cover with frame duly grouted with PCC, watering pipe GI medium grade 20 mm bore, funnel with wire mess etc. all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 5 of SSR Part - I. Note: The unit rate shall also including earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6, type C1 for chamber, CI cover with frame duly grouted with PCC with locking system, funnel with GI watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade, GI protection pipe light grade 40mm dia and wire mesh complete all as directed.

Supply & Fixing of drain outlet PVC 15 mm dia pipe connected from rear side of AC upto drain with necessary clamp and fixtures on wall and floor all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing of Copper tubing of size 1/2" flare size conforming to relevant IS complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing of Copper tubing of size 1/4" flare size conforming to relevant IS complete all as specified and as directed.

Note :- An amount of Rs 2,74,525.00 on account of credit schedule for schedule 'A' part II shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
