Taking down carefully old defective LT UG cables of any size including cable protection pre cast concrete cover / bricks from the trenches and keeping aside for reuse / disposal complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, Laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of LT underground XLPE cable insulated screened PVC bedded, galavanised steel strip or wire armoured heavy duty electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade of cross-sectional area 10 Sqmm 2 core, conforming to IS-7098 (Part-I) of 1988, ISI Marked, laid in trenches/wall/floors/ducts etc fixed with saddle and clamps or passing through pipes including provision of new lugs, glands etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Excavation & earthwork, sand cushioning and PCC cover for cable protection will be measured & paid seperately under relevant items.

Supply & laying precast unreinforced concrete cable cover , class LV, type 1, flat of size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and spread dry river sand in trenches for cable cushioning all as specified in clause 19.75 of SSR Part I and as directed. Note:- Punned thickness of sand only measured and paid under this item.

Supply & laying Galvanised Iron tubing light grade with all fittings, 50mm bore as in cable protection , laid in trenches including taking down existing unserviceable GI pipes & its connections complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Excavation & earthwork will be measured & paid seperately under relevant items.

Supply & laying Galvanised Iron tubing light grade with all fittings, 40mm bore as in cable protection , laid in trenches including taking down existing unserviceable GI pipes & its connections complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Excavation & earthwork will be measured & paid seperately under relevant items.

Taking down carefully existing defective street light fitting of any capacity from tubular poles of any height & taking to nearest substation for repair & refixing the same after repairs complete all as specified & directed.

Rectifying the defects in street light fitting any type at any height by tightening loose connetion and rectifying defects, testing complete all as directed and specified. NOTE : This item shall be measured only if no spares of street light fittings are required to be replaced.

Note:- (i) GI pipe, MS flat iron with nut & bolts if used against this item will be measured & paid under respective items of this schedule . (ii) Ladder required for repairing of Street light fittings will be arranged by the contractor on his own arrangement and quoted rate is deemed to be included in this item. (iii) Labour elements for fixing of parts of street light fitting is deemed to be included in this item. New spare parts of street light fitting shall be measured and paid under relevant item of this schedule as "supply only" (iv) Old unserviceable Ballast, Lamp shall be deposited to store.
