SCH 'A' PART- VII " MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS"

Supply and install testing and commissioning sheet metal clad floor mounted weather, dust and vermn proof of size 50 x 50 x 6mm angle iron frame wihth 16 gauge MS sheet including prparation of surfaces and applying two coats of synthetic enamel painting over one coat of red oxide primer including locking arrangement at front and rear doors suitable for 433 volts , 3 phase, 4 wire system comprising of insulated copper bus bar of 3 phase and neutral 400 amps capacity in sheet metal enclosure with indicator lamps RYB, volt meter and ampere metre with selector switches connected through CT's on bus bar including the following :

(a) MCCB, 4 pole adjustable type, 125 AMps, 35KA capacity - 01 No incoming. (b) MCCB 63 Amps, 4 pole, 25 KA- 03 Nos. (c) Aluminium bus bar 200 AMps rated 04 Nos. (d) Volt metre, Ampere metre, indication lamps. (e) MCB, SPN, 32 Amps - 02 Nos.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60cmx 6 mm thick, buried directly in ground vertically (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5m below ground level , connected to 32 x 6mm GI strip as earthling lead by means blots and nuts check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and connected to earth test point made of gun metal / phosphorous bronze of size 75 x 75 x 25 drilled & screwed including 3 Nos, 8mm dia 25mm long hex headed screw fixed fabricated over the nearest wall including watering arrangement with PCC chamber having outer dimension 60cm x 60cm x 60cm and internal dimension of 30cm x 30cm x 30cm , CI cover with frame , GI funnel with wire mesh GI protection pipe of 40mm dia for earth lead from earth plate to earth test point and 20mm dia GI pipe light grade for watering etc including necessary excavation and earthwork in any type of strata , filling of charcoal and salt complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part - I.

Supply ,laying, testing and commissioning of LT under ground XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty, electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volt grade confirming to IS-7098 (Part-I) 1988 of size 25 Sqmm, 4 core laid in trenches/ wall / floors / ducts etc fixed with saddle & clamps or passing through pipes complete with cable end connection with proper thimbles, nuts, bolts, washers complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Ceiling fan 1200mm sweep and connecting up including provision of three core flexible copper wire of size 23/0.0076 from ceiling rose to ceiling fan all as directed complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Exhaust fan of size 300mm sweep complete set with PVC body and louvers connecting up including provision of three core flexible copper wire of size 23/0.0076 from ceiling rose to exhaust fan complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing Street light fitting MH fitting 150watts, pressure die cast aluminium with full frame & top opening streeet lighting luminaire having IP-66, pot reflector & gasketed curved glass, wired with complete accessories including ballst packed separately, ignitor, capacitor, MH lamp including GI bracket made out of 40mm dia GI pipe, light grade including MS clamps complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make : M/s SURYA Cat No SUL 15 SV/MH POT CA WCGIP66 NEO or approved model of makes in CG/ Philips.

Supply and fixing FRP cable loop in & loop out junction box of size 250x150x50mm with necessary MS clamp of size 40x3mm , nut, bolts including MCB SPN 10Amps-01 No and PVC insulated 2 run single core cable of 2.5sqmm from junction box to fitting complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F MCB, SPN 6 to 32 Amps, 240 Volt, 10 KA, 'C' series .

S&F MCB, single pole, 6 Amp to 32 Amps, 240 Volt, 10 KA, 'C' series.

Supply and fixed Blanking plate in DB.

M&L for earthing using GI Wire 4mm dia as earthing wire complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick buried directly in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 meters deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level connected to galvanised iron as earthing lead GI Wire 4mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 and connected to earthing test point including excavation, earthwork, PCC pit, RCC covers, funnel with watering pipe,GI protection pipe, wire mesh and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.

SCH 'A' PART-VIII "PILE WORK" NOTES : This Schedule ‘A’ covers items of work required for provision of pile foundation for PROVISION OF COOL ROOM AND COLD ROOM AT BVY KARWAR. The quantities shown in Col 3 are "approximate" and are inserted as a guide only. They shall however not be varied beyond the limits laid down in condition 7 of IAFW-2249 (General Conditions of Contract).

The work done against various items will be measured & paid for.The total amount on Sl page No. is not firm but will not be varied beyond the limits laid down in IAFW-2249. Payment for concrete of RCC piles shall be made only up to cut-off level. All concrete up to cut-off level shall be sound. No additional payment will be made for the extra concrete involved due to bulging /over break at the sides of pile or due to any other reasons. The tenderers quoted amount shall, unless otherwise stated in Schedule ‘A’ be deemed to include for the provisions of all materials, process, operations and special requirements detailed in the particular specifications, or note/drawings and other document irrespective of whether these appear as specific items in the description of Schedule 'A' or not and the contractor will not be paid extra for the same.

The amount quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to include for any minor details of construction which are obviously and fairly intended & which may not have been specifically mentioned in tender documents but which are essential for the execution and completion of piling work . Whether a particular item falls under the category of minor details of construction or not shall be as decided by the GE. In case of disagreement between the contractors and the GE in this regard, the decision of Accepting Officer shall be final & binding. The quoted amount shall be deemed to be inclusive of dewatering & shoring strutting wherever required.

Transportation of rigs with it’s accessories to site, installation, shifting and taking back after completion of work, all necessary preparatory work including approaches if any required to site and work site, provision of bentonite tanks/water tanks/channels etc. all as required for complete programme of work as specified in Schedule'A' items and cleaning site after completion of work. Shifting of piling rig/equipment within the area of each building from one building to the other buildings covered in this contract.

The tenderer shall deploy a minimum number of 4 rigs for completing the work within the stipulated period. However it shall be noted that if during execution, if in the opinion of GE, the progress achieved by contractor does not commensurate to provision of CPM chart , additional rigs shall be deployed by the contractor to achieve the requisite progress at no extra cost to the department. Wastage allowance of 1.5 m from cutoff level due to inter mixing of clay slurry with concrete which is required to be demolished and disposed off. The minimum dia of the pile shall not be less than that indicated in this Schedule ‘A’. In case any pile is rejected for any reason, the contractor shall carry out additional pile or piles of same or different dia which shall yield the same capacity of the rejected piles as directed by GE. These additional pile or piles shall be carried out by the contractor without effecting the other piles in the vicinity and at his own expense and nothing extra is admissible on this account.

The quoted amount shall be deemed to include for the following and nothing extra shall be payable to the contractor for the same :- (i) Additional concrete required due to miscasting. (ii) Extra concrete involved due to bulging/over break at the sides of piles or any other reason. (iii) Exposing & cleaning the reinforcement before starting further work in the same piles or group of piles.

On the contrary if the contractor fails to make good the damages caused as above, these damages shall be made good and brought back to the original standard by the department at the risk & cost of the contractor. GE’s decision in this regard shall be final, conclusive and binding. The main bars (reinforcement) of columns extended in pile cap are included in lumpsum quoted under Schedule 'A' Part - I.

Material & Labour for bored RCC cast in situ vertical pile all as per IS 2911 (Part I, Section 2) dia 600mm using cement concrete M30 grade design mix (RMC) confirming to IS 456 as specified by DMC method using bentonite slurry wherever required or by providing casing for stabilization of pile bore or using drilling by any other method as required, in any type of soil/ soft disintegrated rock including flushing of pile bore, cleaning, breaking the pile head to cut off level and exposing pile reinforcement for embedment of pile cap etc and disposing spoil to a distance exc 250m and n.exc 500m complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Steel for reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) M30 design mix concrete shall be measured and paid separately.

All as per item No 7.21 here in before but in hard rock.

Material and labour for RMC M 30 design mix concrete as in piles using tremie pipe concrete method for 600mm dia piles with 400 Kg of cement/Cum complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix TMT bars 10mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 7.24 here in before but but 5 to 10mm dia as in stirrups, spacers and binders.

M&L testing of piles Initial load Test through NABL accredited laboratory as per IS 2911 Part 4, up to 2 times the safe bearing capacity all as specified and indicated on drawings including bringing all testing material to the site complete and removing of the same after completion of satisfactory testing for the 600 mm dia piles and submitting the test report complete all as specified and directed.

M&L testing of piles Routine load Test through NABL accredited laboratory as per IS 2911, Part 4 all as specified and indicated on drawings including all arrangements for excavation, bringing at site all testing material complete and removing of the same after completion of satisfactory testing for the 600 mm dia piles and submitting the test report complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for carrying out integrity test on job pile of 600mm diameter including all arrangements for test, equipments, materials, labour, submission of test reports etc., but excluding the cost of installation of job pile complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F 6mm thick MS liner pipe suitable for 600mm dia piles.

SCHEDULE 'A' PART-IX "LIFT "

Supply, install, testing & commissioning goods (2000Kgs) Lifts suitable to serve G+1 upper floors with Regenerative AC variable voltage & variable frequency (VVVF drive) drive complete with all standard accessories, simplex collective automatic & manual dual controlled operation with/without attendant, automatic centre opening doors with VVVF door drive (electric motor driven mechanism), sliding stainless steel doors, automatic rescue device (ARD) system, 3D infra red sensor in full height of door & built in announcing system without hand set (02 Nos, one each in car & near Ground floor landing door ) all as specified below:- Make: OTIS / Kone/ Schindler

Note:- Lift OEM to submit detailed specification/design parameters, construction drawing of all components of lifts as per IS-14665 for approval of accepting officer before execution of work. GE & Engineer-in-Charge shall ensure that detailed drawing shall be forwarded to this HQ with recommendations for approval within one month of issue of WO No 1

(a) Type of Lifts: Goods Lift (b) Load capacity: 2000 Kgs (c) Speed: 0.50 mtr/sec with single speed motor (d) Power Supply : 415 volts, 3 phase AC, 50 Hz (e) Type of Drive: Regenerated AC variable voltage and variable frequency drive along with converter unit. The regenerated power shall be used to charge the battery of UPS & ARD & emergency light. (f) Type of Machine: Low inertia gearless permanent magnet synchronous motor, directly coupled Horizontal traction machine. (g) Car size (Inside): 2000mm wide x 2400mm deep x 2100mm high. Shaft area 2500mm wide x 3000mm deep x 2100mm high. (ii) LCD/ VFD for car position indicator to be fitted in COP made of stainless steel (iii) One No car operating panel with Luminous buttons in car (stainless steel). (iv) Car direction indicator in car & Landing. (v) Battery operated alarm bell & emergency light (rechargeable) along with suitable maintenance free battery. (This system should be separate from ARD batteries). (vi) Overload warning feature in car cabin (Display and announcing both type). (vii) Fireman’s switch one No per lift to be  installed at Ground Floor near landing door. (viii) All signal fixture & car operating panel on stainless steel face plate with hair line finish.

(ix) Infra red door sensor safety edge of door for entire height. (x) Built in announcing system without hand set 2 Nos, One for lift car & ground floor landing door and one announcing system with hand set in machine room. (xi) The interior of the car should be provided with a device that audibly indicates the floor position of lift car  has reached and indicates that car entrance/exit door is open or closed. (xii) Stainless steel hand rail 40mm dia all around 3 sides in side the car cabin.

(p) Stops & Opening : 2-2, All openings on same side. (q) Safety device : (i) Automatic rescue device (ARD) / Automatic landing device with maintenance free battery having suitable capacity. The batteries must have auto charging facilities. The charger input be connected with converter of Regenerative drive. (ii) The ARD actuation time should be less than one second after failure of power supply and when ARD is operative the car should stop at the nearest floor and then open. (iii) Make of ARD : APS/ADICON/THYSSENKRUPP/ OTIS/ BHARAT BIJLEE/ ECE/ESCON/MONARCH/ OEMs own make. (r) Operation: Simplex, full collective automatic operation with and without attendant. (s) Machine room: Located above the hoist way. (Detail as per Appendix attached. Tenderer to inspect the site before quoting) (t) Hoist way Construction: (Existing at site detail as per Appendix attached. Tenderer to inspect the site before quoting)

(u) Regenerative AC- VVVF drive shall be of make: Yaskawa / Mitsubishi / Fuji/ Otis / OEMs own make. (v) Control system : Shall be closed loop type. (w) Door shall have AC-VVVF controlled close loop operated. (x) Face plate shape shall be rectangular and stainless steel with hairline finish. (y) Counter weight shall be of cast iron as recommended by OEM. (z) Civil work : Necessary Civil work such as making good disturbed surfaces, modification to landing space to suits to car size, necessary foundation to machine and one coat of white wash to lift shaft.

(aa) One number wall mounted type telephone instrument of make Crompton Greaves/ Beetel installed inside of car cabin along with fixing arrangement and telephone cable of suitable size from car cabin to machine room run along with trailing cable. The telephone instrument shall be connected in the telephone DB installed in the machine room. (ab) One number electrically operated siren, operating voltage 240 Volts having audible range of 0.3Km of make ‘KHERAJ’ model No SS020 along with one number inverter unit of suitable capacity but not less than 0.5 KVA of make ‘Luminous/ Microtek’ comprising of maintenance free battery of make ‘Exide’ connected with charging system ( may be through regenerative drive) including a separate switch/ push button inside of car panel and electric wiring circuit up to the machine room. The siren shall be installed over the building at appropriate place and to be operated from inside the car.

Supply and fix aluminium strip of size 25x3 mm from test point to lift machine room to be terminated to the control panel, machine and other equipment installed in machine room.

Supply and fix RCCB 63 Amp, 4 pole, sensitivity up to 300mA, A-S(selective) Make : Legrand Cat No 602167 or equivalent approved make in Havells/ L&T

Supply and fix micro processor release MCCB, with each fault protection 100Amp, 4 pole, 25 KA. Make : Legrand Cat No 420515 or equivalent approved make in Havells/ L&T
